Wednesday was my 2 year anniversary of joining this forum. Noobies be warned!

In those two years, I’ve bought and sold:

1. a large set of National poker series with plaques.
2. a large set of WTHC
3. a large set of scandias
4. a massive collection of Terribles. (Some sales still pending)

I’ve also bought: countless sample cpc custom sets, 57 presidential plaques, a custom Chapman poker table, a portable table, a pelican chip carrier, 3 casino style chip carriers, poker cards, memorabilia, chairs, cpc color samples, dealer buttons, countless chip racks, and more stuff than I can recall. --Hell, the bubble wrap has cost me a fortune!

But at the two year mark, I guess I got serious and bought these!!! Happy anniversary to me!!

While you are reading....i’m curious on opinions, please offer yours on below:
Not in love with the $0.25 (as many of you).

First I thought perhaps I’d relabel some snappers, but after my first rack arrived, not sure about that idea/color with these.

Then I thought about relabeling the $2s @flipupchipup did this for his I think. But my little $0.25/$0.50 game is a bunch of donks and I could still get a few $2s in play for fun if I wanted.

How would Empress Star $20’s look relabeled as $0.25’s? (Then I wouldn’t put my AS $20s in play)

Or. How would Empress Star $25’s look relabeled as $0.25s? (Then I wouldn’t put my AS $25s in play)

Or Just suck it up and use the original $0.25s? Any other ideas?

OH! AND just for kicks (no practical reason at all) I’m likely gonna ask @Gear ifnhe can help me relabel my oversize $1000 orange aztars (i only have 1 barrel) as AS $500s!!! I just like to have a couple high denominations for show that never really see play.

Very nice! You can play the set as is! If you really don’t like the .25 the $2 are a def possibility for a relabel. Take your time to decide. Lots a possibilities. Congrats on the purchase

THANKS!! This was a combination of a 600 chip set and a 700 chip set and a 100 chip buy and a 60 chip buy. I'll let you know on the quarters. I'm getting ES Cash sample set. I hope that i don't like the $20s or $25s as potential $0.25 candidates. I can't imaging trying to pick up 300 of those!! ugh. The orange Aztars are on the way!! I cant wait to get them. Use the originals or relabel the snappers imo. The ES $20's don't come up often, and if I remember correctly, sold for north of $10/chip

Clearly I don't really NEED the snappers or $2's either. And i have too many $100s, no need for BOTH $25s and $20s. and i certainly don't need the $500 relabel project either! ....but moar is better!

I think if and when you get them in play you will find that the quarters work with the set. I thought I did not like them but changed my mind the first time they hit the felt together.

This! I relabeled two racks of $2 AS chips as quarters, then somehow acquired two racks of actual quarters and thought I wouldn’t like them as much as the dark brown 2s but actually they work better with the blue 1s and red 5s.

The AS fracs get a bad rap... but using a relabeled quarter when you have a minty Paulson inlaid quarter at the ready is just blasphemous.

Yes, yes, I realize the AS frac is the runt of the litter, and has a tough time standing up on her own wobbly little legs... but when she hits the felt with the rest of the herd, boy oh boy does she look glorious!!

I don't see it. I like the rest of the lineup. I love the five. The quarters are meh.

Of course it is possible that @davin gf has poor taste, I mean she IS with him ! ....of course it appears that just about all of us PCFers have “outkicked our coverage” so maybe all of our gfs/wives have questionable tastes!

Thanks! I think it's (the $0.25 ES) the best looking chip I've ever owned ...or seen in person; although the $500s, $25s, $20s, $100s and $1s are right behind it. kudos to whoever put these colors and patterns together - wow.

(Some of those ACF's likely might top these? I hope I never see them!! I can't imagine how badly I would want some!)
