The Eldorado Club was a card room located in California. It was open from 1969 to 1996.

Chips:
Chips are all casino used but have been ultrasonic cleaned and meticulously cleaned of any remaining dirt left in the rim and within the hat and canes prior to oiling. All chips are $1 in denomination and contain the inlay. If interested, I would add the rack of "beat up" chips for $50 for the first buyer of a rack. I can PM the photos as I do not want to add more photos than I have already added here :). SOLD

Nice chips and a bit of history here. Gardena,Ca was thee place for poker in CA years ago. The Eldorado, Normandie, and the Horseshoe stick out in my mind. These chips deserve a home where they can be appreciated! GLWS
 
@Mongoose, thanks for the background! I am very new to chipping, but instantly caught the bug. As I get chips, I like to look at background on where the chips showed up from. I did a bit of research and saw that there were some law changes around the time of the closing of Eldorado Club and Larry Flint with Hustler bought the card room. Just for reference, I kept a large part of these chips and will be using them myself!

Very cool that you’re looking and appreciating the history behind the chips as well as them being great looking chips! I learned to play poker in Gardena 35+/- years ago. The Normandie was my old haunt which is sadly closed. Flynt just bought that as well. Saw some crazy stuff there. Someone buy these chips! Won’t last.
 
Paulson racks are discolored... But also come with the chips. I put the racks through the ultrasonic as well.
