These are amazing.

Looking at these though, I realize that this new batch of chips and the boat chip/Horseshoe secondaries I have handled are never chalky. Does Paulson clean/oil their chips before shipment?
New Paulsons do not need to be oiled, but a few colors do benefit a bit from oil (brown chips are the only ones I've oiled).

Not sure if they were oiled at the factory (unlikely) or if they are just produced with an oiler formula than CPCs. Washing with soap may take off that outer layer of oil requiring new oil after a bath, requiring new oil. They are also far less chalky than CPCs or China Clay.

Lol at the inlay haters. Anyone who doesn't think that getting a pic of your actual dog on a set of custom paulsons isn't the greatest achievement in the history of custom chipping, is clearly off their meds.

Also, that green chip with the gold and silver spots is AMAZING.
Jessie Beck could be my grandma, but the disembodied head is borderline awful to many. Now if it was a full dog, like @ChaosRock 's Bubbs.... that would be a great achievement.

Good lord what just happened ITT. Some crazy sweet pr0n going around this forum lately. Dayum.

And this just proves my case that I don't have nearly enough money to hang with this MA/NH crowd...wish I could...but no way in hell.

Folding is ALWAYS an option

I sat with a number of them at a meet-up one year. It felt like riding a bucking bull, one handed, on the wing of a 747.

Best reason to go back.

Lol at the inlay haters - as someone already pointed out the same inlay is in the HOF. Anyone who doesn't think that getting a pic of your actual dog on a set of custom paulsons isn't the greatest achievement in the history of custom chipping, is clearly off their meds.
I'd save my dogs' (insert wife/kids/parents/etc etc) lives over 99% of the people I know and keep a picture of them in my wallet but are they something I'd like to see on poker chips? Nope.

Good thing I don't know anything about their games cause I'd be too afraid to play anything NL with them  :ROFLMAO:

We don’t play NL

25/50c Max buyins is $125 or half the big stack...to start. Standard is usually 4 people straddling
Ban straddles (House Rule). Double the blinds for this given buy-in to be realistic (and more honest to newcomers).
You end up with a possibly smaller but clearly more enjoyable game among like-minded people. Solved.

I don't think you get it. They could play $10/$20 and still jam without looking at their cards. The only way you enjoy the game is if your only options are folding or calling pot. Blinds dont matter, you are playing for stacks.

I loved the original Truman’s, but these are fucking outstanding. I would sell my entire collection including my own customs for a set of these lol

IMO bergs totally nailed the spots, the colours and the inlays. This is the goat set for me now, amazing.

My only single gripe is that he didn’t make that $20 a 43mm chip.

And you haven’t seen the big demons yet...

Where’s the fun in that?

I guess the fun is about playing with like-minded people who expect to play for the announced blinds, not 2x or 3x.
Of course, other people may find genuine pleasure in seeking for an ATM just after arrival at a game. No judgement.

Are those gold hundos?

How do they look in person? I don’t dislike them, but they aren’t as epic as the rest in that photo.

Unique choice though to be fair.
