Yes pigs are flying and hell is freezing over, my Highway 9 cash chips are for sale :p I went back and forth about selling these as part of my goal to get under 10k chips. I may end up regretting this one down the road, but I'm trying to stick to my goal, and selling these is part of it.

Sets of these chips don't come often, not even sure there are many playable sets like this are out there (I don't know of any myself).

Great breakdown (200/600/400) for a 1/1 or 1/2 game. Chips are all LCV and were cherry picked from over twice as many back 7 years ago when I acquired the set. Pretty sure the chips are (a little?) leaded as they have that buttery smooth leaded feel (the $1 chips weigh between 9.6-9.7g , the $5 chips 9.9-10.0g and the $25 chips 9.0-9.1g).

Selling price is $2400 shipped within the US. International shipping is available at an additional cost.

While I could be willing to split these into two smaller cash sets, or even by the rack if everything was accounted for, my preference would be to keep this great set together.

Payment is via PayPal F&F unless otherwise agreed upon.

Please post or PM with any questions. Thanks!

I've never seen long cane dollars or fives, nice, really nice

I don’t have the exact stats, but over the course of 3-4 years I purchased about 600 x $1, 1200 x $5, and 600 x $25 from several sources. Of those 2400 chips, about ~40% of the $1 chips, ~60% of the $5, and ~85% of the $25 were LCV/LCV (as opposed to SCV/LCV). I can’t say if those numbers are accurate across all H9 chips, but for the 2400 chips that went through my hands, that’s what I found.

those lcv, lcv seem much rarer these days
out of all my spotted flamingos, I think I only have one

Always liked these!.. GLWS

fyi.. they are most likely only slightly leaded since they were made in the early 2ks.

Paulson lead content:
- pre '98 most colors were 47% lead (by weight)
- '98-'06 most colors were >1% lead (except for 7 colors which were still the old 47%)
- post '06 basically zero lead
Officially, the colors that still had 47% lead between '98-'05 were:
Blurple, Day green, Fuchsia, Indian Blue, Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver

Yeah, I wasn't exactly sure about the % lead content in these, but they're definitely not in the 11g range of the pre-'98 lead chips (47% by weight).

The knowledge from some members here amazes me... I love learning this kind of info... thanks for sharing!!!

Just a classic set!
Classic inlay design
"Correct" edgespot progression
All LCV (LCV $1s are rare)
The condition also appears to be in the sweet spot for shuffling nirvana
If I didn't already own "too many" keeper sets, these would be on the short list
