Just put Kenny Rogers "The Gambler" on a loop. Maybe just cut to the part that says "You never count your money..."

That's an ultra-nit stack.

Pretty sure that is called “nerd stacks”.
He’s a complete nerd. MTG, LOL, D&D, Fantasy Age, etc. He works at a store that sells board games, vintage video games, and collectibles. Could that have something to do with it?

If you want to play at the big boy table, you gotta learn to stack your chips like a big boy.

In fairness, we don't know the stakes, nor the game. Nickel fracs are pictured (antes?), although the quarters suggest that this is a .25/.25 or .25/.50 game. He has close to a full stack if he is playing .05/.10 NLHE with a $10 buy-in.

Clearly not a fondler.

I, on the other hand, like my stacks tall and tight... more arm room, right? One night, this one doofus at my game (age 50ish) was so enthralled with the height of my stack... "oooh! it's going to fall man!", so the other doofus to my right (age 55ish) thought it would be hilarious to bump the table hard (and unnaturally) enough to knock them over, splashing them directly right into my neighbor's stack. Luckily, the guy knew exactly what he had after winning the last hand, so we were able to sort it all out, but it took everything I had not to grab the doofus who knocked them over by the neck and toss him out - after 20 mins or so of giggling to himself, he apologized for knocking them "into the other stack"... not for knocking them over, there was nothing wrong with that.

So I guess the lesson I learned is: when playing with children or doofuses (doofi?), keep the stacks short.
