Oh my gawd da pron. Teach me the awesome harvesting methods you learned master. Also I might need some of these $1s if the deal I am working on with someone else for Fracs falls through. Do you have face shots of the chps?

I think the trick to harvesting is being persistent. If someone says no I come back later that day or the next day when a different person is working.

Generally speaking the main cage isn't very helpful. Getting chips in the poker room is always the best option.

Other then that just be prepared to spend a lot of time walking around and asking at every casino. I always ask for mint chips at the poker room and at the main cage just in hopes that someone will sell me a rack. It is very rare these days but it does happen once in a while. Last time out Monte Carlo (right before the rebranding) sold me 3 mint racks which really made my day

Love the Paris chip for a temporary frac and eventually a custom labeled 1. I'm surpsied to hear how hard it is. Can you not get chips for black jack then leave or pay other people in the casino for their chips?

I have never bought singles from another stranger playing in the casino. It might work but most people only have a handful of singles. Worst scenario is a place like Paris with no poker room. Then I just go around to the BJ and roulette dealers and ask them to make change. I give them 2x 5 dollar chips and ask them for singles. At the wheel game and roulette you can ask them for 20x of the 1 dollar chips because they have plenty of 1s in their rack thingy.

You have to be discreet and move around. You can't keep asking the same dealer for change or she will be like wtf. Even the way I do it getting 10-20 chips at a time some of the dealers give me attitude or won't do it. I would visit Paris 2-3 times a day for about 30 mins at a time. I would make my rounds and then go back later after the shift change.

Also if you gamble a bit the dealers will be more open to your request for 1 dollar chips. I put 10 on black - won. And then I asked for 20 bucks back in 1 dollar chips.

I don't actually play the wheel game because the odds are so bad - some of the worst odds in the casino.

If you play craps and you are doing ok then you can also harvest some chips well from doing that. On the other hand you can also quickly lose money at craps like I did

I always ask the cage for a rack of mint chips knowing they will say no.

I had one person who almost did it. But then she asked her boss and that was game over.

It was close tho. damn.

Like Zesty, I got 4 MINT racks from Excalibur during my harvesting trip.
To anyone the fence, Zest is a great member of our community. Speaking from the perspective of a guy that harvested 1600 chips on my last Vegas trip:
Harvesting takes a lot of time and effort. You get shut down a lot.
The chips are worth the finder’s fee!
