Had that issue two years ago along the curb in front of my house. They were a pain to get out. Tried the foam and and ammonia. Even jammed the hose down there and tried to flood them out. I can’t remember what actually worked but they eventually left.

Luckily I never got stung. Work at night to get rid of them

Glad to hear you're on the mend. I had a bunch of the really little yellowjackets/wasps that had dug into the wood of a landscape tie in my backyard. I must have nudged it while mowing the lawn and they swarmed like all hell. They were so small I didn't even see them for the first half dozen bites. Took off for the back door, once I got inside they were flying against the glass to get at me. Fuckers. I'm not allergic so thankfully no reaction (I was home alone too and pretty freaked out for a bit) but they sure do hurt. Drowned them in a gallon or so of wasp killer that night, problem solved. X2 on the recommendation for getting the skin test.

We get the bees that build their nests in the ground under our bushes. We find out about them when the grass is cut, then do a sneak attack at night to do them in. Glad you're okay, Mike!

Another battle of life and death in my yard this week. Thankfully I was not involved this time.

I thought it was a big fly until I saw the second picture... It's like the frog is just sitting there waiting for the snake to make the next move and we he does, the frog will look at him and say, "dumbass" and then hope off...

Oh no the toad wasn’t going anywhere but inside the snake and that snake has swallowing skillz like you see on some other internet sites.
