Finally posting prON of my River City chips! I had been acquiring these a few at a time, then purchased a small set from @Apache . Most of the chips really needed some cleaning, so I spent some time removing hotstamps, and giving them a good scrubbing. The sit N go set made it’s debut, for my birthday last February. The cash set made it’s debut, the opening night of The Divide. I really love the $1s, and the full rack of $500s! I have a temporary solution for quarters, but eventually would like to work with @Gear , to get some re-labeled quarters to match!

Enjoy the pics!

Fabulous cash set, I'll keep this as is, for a 1 1 game. Really perfect.

And I don't think we have so many real Paulson casino sets from Nouvelle Orleans.

Rare and beautifull !

Congratz(y) :thumbsup:

I have always wanted to build a set of these myself. Such a great looking set! New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. Thought it would be fitting for me to have a set, being from Louisville, which is sometimes called River City as well.
From the pictures you can't tell that they had been cancelled with a hot stamp except on the $100. Can you tell in person?

Yeah, there aren’t too many NOLA sets around. This casino, and it’s sister property were only open 10 months. The chips were cancelled, and sold out of the Paulson Retail Store in Vegas. Some denominations are easier to find than others (1Ks are pretty rare, and I’m having difficulty finding a full rack of $25s, also.
We really only play .25/.50 (even through the game plays bigger). I have a difficult time getting my .50/$1 set in play. I’m looking at these for a re-label candidate. Just need 3 more barrels of them;

I believe @Apache still has some sets. As I said above, some denominations will be harder to get, to make the breakdown you want/need.
I only have about 10-20 chips that were never stamped. I purposely choose those for the closeups. The stamped chips still have an impression where the HS was. Some are shallow, and are barely noticeable, while some are quite deep. In the pic, the $1 is pretty shallow, and the $100 is much deeper.

in this case, the snapper's clearly the appropriate chip for a quarter with @Gear inlay replacement :)

Yes those 2.50 chips would make great quarters.

I suggest caution with pink quarters with a set with a red $5. Often times the color palettes conflict.

I ran into this with my Benny’s and went with blue quarters.
