Then I guess it’s yours... I just thought there was one, as I haven’t seen a recent auction without the clock.

I forgot to put a 5 minute rule in so it looks like the final bid is @Frank with his 2:30 CST bid of $1610.

PM me your full address please and I'll figure out shipping costs for you Frank.

Thanks all for bidding.

According to the PCF guidelines posted by Tommy in the sticky, auction style adds must copy and paste the following guidelines into an auction style ad.

AUCTION STYLE ADS
You must copy and paste the following guidelines into your ad thread if you want to do an 'Auction' style ad.

********************
RULES

1. STARTING BID: [add amount here]
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $ [add amount here]
3. The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at [Time, Time Zone, Date] will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted.
6. Edited posts will be voided.
7. I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; ii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
9. Shipping Terms: [add terms here]
10. Payment Terms: [add terms here]

Yeah I honestly didn't notice that until after I bid. Not trying to break any rules.

Ah I guess I missed that rule.

So if that's the case then I guess the final bid would be 1630 but its still Frank who would have won so I'm fine with just the 2:30 bid of 1610 unless the bidding needs to be opened up for another 10 minutes or something to be fair for kk405 to have a chance?

@Tommy do we just have the bidding end with Franks 1610 or should we open it back up so KK405 has a chance being he did bid within the 5 minute after ending?

Citing rule #8. :p

I would suggest awarding it to the bidder per the rules that were stated in the FP.

Alright so if we go with the rules I had posted in my OT then the bidding ending at 2:30 CST so @Frank is the winner with a bid of $1610.

Sorry for all the confusion folks. I'll make sure I copy the auction rules next time so we don't run into this in the future.

I am assuming you’re referring to this:
8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.

You could have probably cited anything, but number 8, really? I guess some of us will always be treated differently. I get it. Your site. Your rules.

You either took that completely wrong OR just wanted to put your own spin on it. At least two people asked for a ruling/clarification. I was simply saying that I prefer not to get involved in other people's transactions but lent my opinion anyway to help out.

If there is no 5 minute rule and the auction stated an end time of 2:30PM CST, not 2:30 and 59 seconds CST, I would argue the bid that arrived stamped 2:30 is void because there is no 5 minute rule and the last legal bid would have been the 2:28 bid by @kk405
