As I'm looking to thin the herd, my Big Apple set is up for sale.

The set consists of

700 white/blue $1
20 black/yellow $100
280 red hotstamped Hollywood Park 25c

The 1s and 5s are, as far as I can tell, uncirculated/mint, while the 100s and quarters are casino used but in good to very good condition.

Asking US$1,050.00 shipped track and trace, insured and including PayPal-fees, to the US or EU. Others please inquire if shipping will add to the amount above.

Buyer decides whether he/she wants the quarters or not....price is the same

I remember this place well. I had a lot of friends who worked there when they opened. They weren't in business very long though. All the chips were in play, but not for long. That's why they look pretty new. The owner was a complete asshole and ended up running it into the ground in short order. He pissed off a lot of players and dealers. He was a real estate guy, not a casino guy. Then after failing, he bought the Royal Casino and tried to run it into the ground. The previous owner of the Royal asked me to run the poker room for him for the summer during the transition period between owners because the previous poker room manager was caught stealing money to fund his drug addiction lol. When I took over, my first order of business was to clean the Royal Casino chips! I guess I was already a chipper back then and didn't even know it! I wish I had known about ultrasonic cleaners though. I had myself and all the dealers scrubbing chips one at a time with baking soda and water!

I played at the Big Apple some because a few of my buddies who lived in North Everett would hit happy hour there all the time. It was the weirdest place, always had a haunted house typ vibe, the entrances were weird, and everything was kind of dirty North Everett before the zombies took over and really gave it that deserved title. It always boggled my mind though how they couldn't keep a casino going in that place, they had one of the only (if not the only if I remember right) off track betting rooms for horses in the state, place should have been packed.

I did see Spice 1, B Legit, and Dru Down (can ya feel me?) there one night so fuck yeah Everett.

I would love to have a set of these for nostalgia reasons only...maybe one day.

So far I have separate parties interested in the HP quarters (UK member) and a total of 720 of the Big Apples. Unfortunately also interest in 300 5s and I only have 200...

A split between US buyers would, I think, require shipping to a single recipient and then domestic shipping from there. If all chips are spoken for, I am willing to look at compensating somewhat on the shipping costs to make up for this.
