BJs clean up easily.

Definitely GOCC. Shipped from Maine. Packed well in same cardboard boxes that CPC come in. Don't think you will have any problem with receiving the chips but can only reflect on my experience.

Thanks for the info, good to know he's a good seller. I didn't understand what GOCC was in the OP. It is a bit odd that he didn't list any here since there would be no eBay fees for him.

Similar to this: I figured out the breakdown I would get and then abandoned the idea since I have enough cash sets. Thought about a re-labeled tournament set, but that wouldn't work since the denom is on the mold too. Probably a good thing there were no more $100's left, saved me some money.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was to generate eBay feedback - don't know if he's a new seller or if this is just a new account, but he's got no feedback, and soon he'll have lots. That's worth something.

My guess is that they scooped them up from a casino that they made new chips for. They probably don't want the GOCC name linked to selling a competitor's product.

FWIW, Here are the totals I gleaned from the eBay ads ($1s and $5s are approximate but close.)
$1 = 5200
$5 = 5800
$25 = 3670
$100 = 2800

How does this compare to some of the recent chiproom sales?

Some other things. If you are going to relabel, be prepared to work for it. The first couple of $1's I tried the label was stuck on better than any BJ I've ever tried to do before. Some serious adhesive. :eek:

Some unofficial totals based only on the amounts listed & sold on eBay

6680 - $1 (there was an earlier listing for 1500 $1's)
5730 - $5
3670 - $25
2800 - $100

Roulettes were a FeeBay pickup quite some time back. There were 2 lots and someone beat me to the second one. :unsure:

Honestly I was the most excited about the $1's. Rarely see enough V7 $1's at one time to build a limit set. You might see a few racks but not that many.

I'm actually surprised these went as long under the radar as they did. I figured some of the other pickers would have posted them before I did. Anyone with "Bud Jones" in their search would have picked up on them. (I'm pretty sure a couple of other PCF'rs got in on them before I posted them).

I knew they wouldn't last long once they were outed, there are a lot of closet BJ lovers out there (some will even admit to it). :sneaky:



Glad folks got in on some sets. Even though they are only 2 color V7's it was still a great price point & good quantity to boot. Always hoping there may be more. Would love to see some $500's but can't find any reference to BJ $500's from that casino (even though they have a Chipco $500 listed now). :cool:

Hhmmm...if only there were BJ type hybrids available that we could do a GB for fracs and 500s for these...

I honestly bought 2 racks of $25 by mistake. I bought 4 racks of $5's for my mixed set so if anyone has 2 racks of $1's and a rack of $5's I'm your huckleberry.

Looking at the CG #s, the ceramics appear to be the current rack.

Can't believe how quiet this thread is. I can't tell you how excited I am right now.

What breakdown did you all get? I'll have:

100 x fractional (to be determined)
300 x $1 (possibly 200 more)
700 x $5
200 x $25
20 x $100

I've been working on a Bud Jones mixed cash set for several years now... Thought this was going to be the end of it because all I needed was some $5's but at these prices... It'd be insane for me to not get a full set. I am giddy waiting for these to arrive.

I guess there really aren't that many Bud Jones lovers out there... More BJ's for me!~
 
I ended up getting 200 $1s and 400 $5s this time. After getting 200 quarters a couple days ago.

Couldn't resist them now they replenished there supply.

Just got the quarters today. Really nice (as BJ's so often are) for used.

Now I just need to find am $20 and a frac to round out this set.
 
I sent them a message on eBay. $100s are definitely all gone and they never had any $500s.
