yep, just got these. I've decided that I want to add onto my sunsets so it can function as a limit set as well as a NL/PL set.

I will split the set up if all are accounted for.

NEW PRICE IS 200 PLUS SHIPPING for 1300 chipco's. .15 per chip.

1000 x 1
300 x 25

a thousand of these are cleaned. I will gladly clean the other 500 if the purchaser desires it.

I paid 450 shipped. That is what I will sell them for. If someone attending the Hitching Post Meet up wants to buy these I will hand deliver them for 400 bucks. I'll throw in a birdcage and 10 racks for another 25 bucks. The birdcage and racks are only if I can deliver the chips, or if their picked up.

They were put into play on SAT night and they were a big hit.

I haven't taken the ones and 25's out of the box yet. I'm guessing their the same condition as the other chipos that @Psypher1000 was selling. If you, or anyone is interested I'd prefer cleaning them before shipping them out. It would just make me feel better. I don't like dirty chips. It would just delay the shipping process by a few days.

Also, I'll drop the price on the entire lot for 420 bucks if someone is interested. It'll cost me a 50 dollar hit, but oh well. Ready to move onto a clay limit set lol.

My leading two options for a limit set is to add onto my sunsets or take @BGinGA suggestion and go with non denominated chips. Then it would be flexible for a 2/4 - 5/10 stakes. Now that I know that I have enough guys interested its just a matter of selling these. I'd have loved to have snatched up @AK Chip Soapy limit set. I just didn't have the funds at the time.

I guess building non-denominated makes sense if you'll play at different stakes. But I feel like it's easier said than done with Paulsons. It would probably take a while to find 1000 starbursts of the same color, and people tend to price those upwards of a buck a chip. Maybe you can find initialed hotstamps on ebay - there always seem to be a lot of reds and whites out there.
Anyway, have fun with your search.

The HS $1's would take a vinyl label I would think. Come up with a cool ND design and have the best of both worlds. A Paulson set with edge spots that has flexibility and still under $1/chip.

Or wait for the next Boardwalk group buy and get the pink and blue chips for about $0.58/chip.

My advice is stay away from non-denominated chips. They would work for limit, but they just are not as nice to play with in my opinion. I have a fairly nice old asm set that I almost never put into play because I would rather use one of my denominated sets. Adding on to the sunset set seems like a great idea, or waiting a bit to see if something exciting comes up for sale (that's more than half the fun anyway isn't it?). I know when I actually receive chips and open the box, it is almost a little letdown because the anticipation is over. Anyway just my advice, take it a little slower and savor the decision!

PS you could buy a ton of BCC fan of cards 1's brand new for 79 cents each at Kardwell.com or get blank BCC T molds for 85 cents each at holdempokerchips.com. and have @cgraham86 hot stamp 'em!!

PPS New Paulson starbust (Including a hawt spotted blue) are now on sale at Kardwell.com for 79 cents each, I know this is a secret some would like to be in on!

Once (if) these sell I won't be in a hurry. If I'm going to spend in the dollar a range per chip I'll most likely just add onto my sunsets. If I come across a steal like @Rhodeman77 did with the Soapy's then I won't have much choice but something like that lol.

However, chip budget doesn't allow for any purchases until I sell something. Sunsets and PNY's are untouchable. Don't really want to sell the Cigar chips. I've only used them once and their pretty damn cool.

I agree with @mike32 that denominations are preferred overall. But for a limit set that is only using 2 value chips it isn't an issue like it would be for a tournament or a no limit game that could have 4 different value chips in play.

400 shipped for the entire lot of 1500 chips. If no one is interested in them then I'll probably keep all the ones and sell one rack of 25's and both racks of fives.

I will sell the 1000 x 1 and 300 x 25 for 200 plus shipping. This is the last price reduction. I'll keep them before I go any lower.

I will ship outside the U.S, but shipping will obviously be outrageous.
