2026- New Mold Ideas (8 Viewers)

As far as I'm aware the hybrids do have marks from the ejector pins where later the stickers are placed. At least on one side of the chip.
So taking the same molds will not work for printing on the sticker area :(
The molds would have to be manufactured differently so that the sticker area doesn't have any ejector marks.
Remanufacturing the "old" molds just for this purpose is not really worth it. However one could think about that if a complete new mold is manufactured.

They do have injection marks under the label.

I may be in the minority here, but 39 & 43mm hybrids/non-hybrids with a simple mold like the Wynn charity chips would be right up my alley.

Thanks for providing the picture. These are exactly the ejector marks I was talking about.
However, don't mix up ejector marks and injection marks.
Ejectors are needed to eject the chip from the mold. While the injection spot(s) is where the liquid plastic "enters the mold". Regarding tinas, this is the little dot on the outer rim.

I remember seeing this while digging around, and I thought I'd throw it in the ring. I'm not totally sure how the smaller details would come out, but I really like it, especially because it reminds me of the TFP mold (RIP). It's a 39mm chip with a 27mm recess.

The mold may not be perfect because it was done in Photoshop instead of Illustrator due to my lack of knowledge on the latter.
