Great time at the LA area meetup. Thanks for hosting @JJDiamonds! And to @xdan for bringing us together. Also @Mongoose @TheOffalo @Xylokite @wonderpuddle and @UncleMilty in attendance. Great Tilted Donkey chips thanks to @wonderpuddle; The $5's were fire in person. $.50c/$1 blinds $100 max to start.

Here is my stack and then a few of the best hands of the night. We started with mixed games.

Most Club 72 members in attendance last night.

I had my nemesis on my left. The last two sessions he was on my right, so it took a minute to adjust. Random seating to switch things up is good!

More split pot games was nice - PLO8 was called a couple times, and draw2maha for the last orbit.

I didn't run particular well and was fairly card dead. Made a big lay down which I'm confident was correct, and I was pretty much break even on getting thin value vs value owning myself.

In for $100, out for $94.

My pattern of winning a lot and losing a little is still on track :)

Buy in min 60, pot limit games, expect to lose around 40? Shit I have been doing something wrong when I play pot limit 😅

Round 5 of Season 3 in the heads-up battle between Mrs Zombie and I. This round was a $50 NLHE tournament on the Aviation Club de Zombie chips.

Going in we were tied with 2 wins each. After about a dozen lead changes in the final 30 minutes, we are now at 3-2. There are 27 more rounds to go - the title is a long way from being claimed.

We had another fun game Saturday even if my final results showed otherwise lol

From the last game, the winners brought some halal dishes with rice. We watched the Spurs and Knicks game for a bit and then got down to play.

Broke out my CPC set for the game.

but the stack started to dwindle after some draws missed

The crew agreed to add derailment back into the mix and it was a fun addition! Below is a a hand where two boards got wiped.

I built back up again after a few rebuys after winning this derailment hand in an unexpected way with a straight and a flush on boards that could have had better hands easily (I lost my best board on the river). I'll take it!

That was my peak and my hands went completely cold, missing every other draw and hand. The drunk guy for the night ended up hitting everything and holding most of the chips. He also proceeded to throw up in the trash can and sleep on the couch lol.

In for $500, out for $0.

Can confirm these chips were great to play with. GG's to everyone that was there!

poker at @SmoothDiz lake house. Play pocket Kings vs him and flop a king! Check call the flop, turn (which is ace). Check raise the river and he calls. Proudly show my set of kings. Lose to his set of Aces! I snap a pic of his triumph. Yay! :cautious:View attachment 1692166
What a nice table topper! Do you know where he got it from?

Got the plug on a new home game in the area. Made the connection by having just OK chips posted on Facebook. He didn’t buy the chips, but I got invited to the game.

Sat in the box for the first 2 1/2 hours and dealt for the guys. Then I jumped in when it fell down to six handed, and the host dealt and played. I prefer not to deal and play unless I’m at the old folks home.

Game runs .25/50 w/ dealer choice bomb pop usually four or five card PLO double board. Betting on the flap is capped at five bucks. 7-2 game is on for a $1/ player.

I bought in for 40+ my dealer tips which was about eight bucks. Left with $78.

So, yesterday ended up quite hectic. It was very warm so decided to play outside and put the table up. Then all of a sudden it started pouring rain…
Got the 2nd table up (still need a custom table topper for it) and got in the kitchen to play untill the rain stopped.

Quite chaotic.

Was down -350 after the chaos settled, scooped a 4 way Atomic Pineapple and somehow ended with 560. Good for a profit of 160.

That Tutto Passa felt is just gorgeous!

Cash game .25/.50 planning to have them milled and labeled eventually. I got you on an invite next game, it’s just always put together last minute. :ROFLMAO: Layers are encouraged not required

1. Is this cash or is this tourney?
2. If this is cash, where is my invite?
3. If invited, what is the minimum requirement of layers that I'm asked to wear, and does whoever wears the most layers get a bonus?
