'What's in TheOffalo Box'

Your drunk uncle has been busy filling another box at Chez Offalo so let's have a look at what we bought from late April to June. In this haul we have a juicy set of JACK Detroit chips, Tangiers playing cards, a whole bunch of boat chips and samples, samples, samples! And yes, there was a couple of, "...oh yeah, I did buy that didn't I" in there.

For the first time in a long time, I don't have anything waiting to ship at Peter's place. My non-purchase streak is at an all time high of 22 days as of today but don't fear, the chipping fund is full and my dibbing finger is cocked and ready to go. All you gotta do is list those sweet, sweet chips.

I've been a bad chipper. I had to double juggle my shifts with a co-worker to get time off for my annual trip to the Grand Canyon, the trip to the Canyon itself and general "life getting in the way", I'm behind in posting goodies that have arrived in the mail in the last (checks calendar), two months!!

The Vegas ones collection continues, but thankfully at a slower rate than in the past:

...yet a couple of the absolute newest ones had to be added, as well as one that was a bit older but a little elusive. Also, another addition to the Vegas 2-3-4 collection in the last couple weeks.

Most of the only issue from the CBS Sports World. A chance to grab most of the release from this short-lived and surprisingly under-documented place was hard to pass up. I need to get the non-opening L.E. chips, but those are relatively easy to fetch.

This lasted a year before becoming just Sports World for a few more years before closing.

Finally, some more interesting chips in the recent arrivals. The Silver Palace $100 effectively wraps up what I'm looking for from that location. The very nearly pristine Large Crown Boulder Club quarter makes me particularly happy (I've always loved that logo). The perfect Golden Nugget $10 will join its friends that I have from that last all-clay issue.

All came in mint/near mint condition except for the Joe's Club (it's falling apart a little) but I kind of expected that as it's about 60 years old and it's a $1 chip...
