estate sale (2 Viewers)

Only thing of value imo is the kem cards maybe $20~30 a setup. Anyone else see anything noteworthy?

The pictures suck for detail, but I think I made out
  • a cardboard rack of dull green THC (plus possibility of a red one, but I can't see the mold)
  • a carousel of Fun Nite (?) hotstamps (these pictures suck)
  • One of the open metal chip boxes that seems to have a bunch of white Fun Nites and potentially other THC?
  • At least a half dozen 500 chip boxes that they don't apparently show inside (empty?)
If I lived nearby I'd check it out without any expectations

Best way to store chips...
Where is this? Looks to me like lots of it is stored in an attic?

My 1st thoughts were that someone robbed my house. :p
I have to admit I have, or gave away stuff in those pics up in my attic, but not chips.

There has to be some gold in there somewhere.

I’d stay away from any plastic cards stored in an attic. Attic is a good spot for most of these chips.

Can’t tell for sure, but these look like mermaids. Mermaids are the worst.

seems to me like a collection of rejects, failed prior auctions or perhaps just the residuals left after cherry picking.

Maybe on a really lucky day a lost diamond will be lurking. Worth a quick run through if I were already at the auction. Most of the lots look like $10 or less and will sell in seconds, be sold in a massive "everything on table 54" lot or not sell at all.

I have been to an auction where they had quality gambling related items. The staff was knowledgeable. The best stuff was clearly described and marketed. And the prices were crazy high for the most part. No crap for sale - like the carrousels of interlocking plastic Walmart chips or the more desirable slugged chips we see here.

These people make a living selling stuff for as much as they can. Occasionally ignorant, but normally they know what is what. I wouldn't have much hope of a notable score if the staff can't even be bothered to take a useful picture. -=- DrStrange

Agreed.

This is not an estate sale run by the deceased's kids who don't have time to deal with the hassle. There's a lot of time and effort put in to cataloging the sale and posting pictures on the website. They know what they are doing. I doubt there are gonna be any bargains.

This guy had it all top to bottom (mostly bottom) and not just a hoarder of chips.
With all that stuff I cannot believe the amount of dice chips in the mix.
I was hoping that after the attic shots I would see some top-shelf stuff on the main floor.
I chuckled when I saw quite a few things I have had or still do. Some in my attic

Who is is jumping in?
Some interesting shots:

KEMs in the attic? That can’t be good.
