Nice! What vitola was that? I have some of the robustos but didn't like them as much as the standard v melanio: but i've only had melanio in larger format - torpedo or double toro. Generally prefer sweeter maduros (and more smoke), so I'm wondering if it's just the smaller robusto that didn't hit right.First cigar of the most beautiful day of weather NE has seen in months. Lovely aged stogie from @Jers28. The older versions of this blend are amazing.

Super reliable stick. My current fav from Perdomo.Nice box-pressed yesterday, w/ a V-Cut just for @joeyshin
Way better than their 20th Anniversary's IMO.

How'd you like it? these are a personal favorite for me. Extremely rich. One of the first cigars I've had where I felt like I was not trying to 'find' the flavor. It just hit.First Number 9 yesterday…

Lol. My other favorite. Got 2 boxes of these. great with coffee. Also have some blue's on the way I hear good things about them.Today I’m going with a MF The Judge. It’s a nice box pressed smoke with a side of coffee from my moka pot. It pairs well after a long day.
Same, easily. My current fav from Perdomo.
I thought it was fantastic, which is good because I was kind of meh on the 10th Champaign and downright disliked both versions of the 20th, despite only hearing great things on Perdomo (construction/burn was top tier on those though tbf). I have a 30th Sun Grown sitting in the humidor still to try, but at this point I don't see myself opting for anything besides the 10th Maduro. Right up my ally w/ what I typically like though, so not too surprising. How'd you like it? these are a personal favorite for me. Extremely rich. Funny, I almost grabbed The Judge over the above yesterday lol. I have five Blue's resting too. Coincidences all around lol.Lol. My other favorite. Got 2 boxes of these. great with coffee. Also have some blue's on the way I hear good things about them.
Totally random. Anyone here actually stopped smoking cigars? I’ve been smoking everyday, but started to feel I should stop. I’m getting professional help, but the power of nicotine is too much.

What are you using now? I posted a few months ago about giving up on SensorPush. Such a disappointment. Instead I bought a 10-pack of the inexpensive, round hygrometers from Amazon and put two in each of my humidors. Far more accurate and reliable.@Salmonblaster would you recommend these Govee sensors? I have been looking for a while and they are priced really well. Do you need a subscription as well as purchasing the sensors?
I am like you I use the old round mechanical hygrometer, but I am interested in finding a good solution for my cigar humidor and my two wine fridges. Grovee seems to be really cheap for a solution, but maybe old school is the easy way to do itWhat are you using now? I posted a few months ago about giving up on SensorPush. Such a disappointment. Maybe the Govee products are better?
I see some gr8 sticks in there. For just getting into this for a couple of months, you are surpassing people just getting into chipping, and then going straight for Paulsons with some mixed in Tina's. Great start!View attachment 1678549

I did a cleanup and a rearranging of things today and thought I'd share the current state of my collection. This is my main humidor and doesn't include my other two tupperdors that have a bunch of RP Mulligans, Candelas in one, and a ton of Ashton/Oliva Senoritas and other short smokes etc. in the other.
How am I doing for just past two months into collecting/smoking? Anything that I'm missing out on or anything that I need to add more of? I'd love to hear some suggestions and recommendations so that I can expand my horizons more in the future.
@joeyshin I’ve been smoking same kind of cigars for a decade. Mainly cared about prices and all cigars sounded the same, speaking of getting nicotine. Can you tell me more about it?
I’ve been smoking first in the morning before I take a shower and leave for work. I don’t feel like smoking at work or outside except I am at a casino. However, I’ve been smoking 3-4 cigars everyday at home and trying to stop that habit. Smoking occasionally will be nice, not everyday.
Why I want to reduce smoking is in the warning section of the package! For better health.

Great collection! And one fine Daniel Marshall Humidor, I have the same. Some of my favorites are Ashton ESG, Fuente Don Carlos, Opus X, San Cristobal (quintessence, ovation, revelation), Plasencia Alma Fuerte, Padron (1926, 1964, family reserve), CAO Amazon basin, Olmec.View attachment 1678549

I have the Govee sensors and have been happy with them. I like them because they’re Bluetooth and I can get the reading without having to open my humidor. Reads and records temp and humidity accurately.@Salmonblaster would you recommend these Govee sensors? I have been looking for a while and they are priced really well. My favorite and most common smoke there.................AF Don Carlos Eye of the Shark, sweet & creamy, perfect construction and draw with tons of white smoke. Lighter than I usually smoke but an awesome stick.

so i will say swisher sweets is probably not very good for you. I dont know whats in them, but i know most people who buy them don't smoke them. They make blunts with them Lol
When i had more money i smoked nicer cigars regularly but now that i'm broke, i try to find great smokes at low prices since i usually buy 50-100 cigars at a time. I like medium to light body cigars.
Try these:
AJ Fernandez Last Call - these are the best bang for buck cigars IMO. they are usually like $3-5 and they smoke great. they have a great profile and are made really well. Theres a bunch of different sizes but i especially like the chiquittas...i would say its very similar to the H.Upmann Half Corona (which is one of my favorites)
I've also been smoking a lot of Factory Smokes... these are <$2/cigar but they are pretty good for that price. They draw well but they can sometimes canoe if youre not watching it. Also, since they're probably made with leftover scraps, the insides at the foot can come out a little too easily, but for $2 they're great smoke. They come in different sizes and wrappers.
My main reason i stopped cigarettes is because its is proven that they are harmful to your lungs. Its not even the nicotine but all the chemicals and smoke that you breathe into your lungs. If you smoke cigarettes you will eventually have health issues.
Cigars are not like cigarettes. You do not inhale cigar smoke. The nicotine is absorbed in your cheek tissues (Buccal absorption). While this may create a higher risk of mouth cancer, the risk is still very low. Some articles even mention smoking cigars reducing stress as a benefit.
If you ever feel like you've got too many of those sharks.....My favorite and most common smoke there.................
My shop evens offers me a bigger discount becasue I buy so many
Probably have a 100 or so in my home humidors and locker at the shop
Never had any myself but bought this the other day after hearing great things; letting them sit for a bit. Expecting to like Pledge the best... if they end up being a favorite I’ll you know for next DiDEP Carrillo
what is your favorite stick in their lineup?
A buddy of mine is a rep for them, I like them all.
I smoke a lot of the Pledge's, Dusk, Encore Black and the 15th Year Anniversary
