Buyer has the option of:
1) Trimming the cash set down to only the 0.25, 1, and 5 chips (total of 700 chips) for $3600 + Shipping.

2) Exchanging the (80) 25 and (20) 100 for (100) 0.05 nickels, making this a micro stakes set.

3) Extending the set to a cash + STT tourney set with the following breakdown (cash and tourney will share the 25 and 100 denoms (which isn't a problem if your $20-$50 game is small enough to need very few 25s or none at all).
* I am reserving denoms 25 and 100 for the cash set. If cash set sells without those denoms, a 400pc tourney set will be available.

1) Add barrels to white 1 ($100/barrel), green 25 ($90/barrel), black 100 ($90/barrel), purple 500 ($90/barrel)
2) Add a rack of purple 2 denom: $600/rack
3) Swap out the pink 0.25 denom for pink NCV: no change in price
4) Add pink NCV racks: (300) total chips available, sold by the rack @ $600/rack
5) Swap out the (80) green 25 denom for (80) purple 25 denom: add $120

What's the story behind these suits/pips mold? is this a custom mold made by Paulson, or someone else?
 
stopping myself from pulling the trigger on this kind of listing is exactly the reason i bought customs, but damn why am i so tempted?

I believe some Avalon Club stamps have made it onto some of these THC suits/pips solids that were intended for the Grand Cardroom (GCR) tourney sets.

However I think there aren't many of them. I've only seen Avalon stamps on the blaze orange and canary yellow chips.
(I only have a couple barrels of the .50 stamps on yellow solid and .25 stamps on blaze orange)

sorry for he questions tried searching and didn't see much on them. does the suits/pips with the THC mold or WTHC mean they were produced by Paulson and then sold for retail? also do you know approximately what year these sets were coming out?

Yes, the THC suits/pips mold was produced by Paulson and sold for retail, back when Paulson was still selling to the home market. It came after the PAULSON CHIPS market when Paulson was amenable to custom molds (for a very brief time).

Around 2006 I think? Same time-period as WTHC chips, which are on the same mold.

And geez, 2006 is 20 years ago! :oops:

Yea what @sleepypiggly said. It was a brief window in time when Paulson would sell to the home consumer market, but casinos didn’t like that so they backed out.

Some speculate they’ll be back to the retail market one day but it makes little sense for them to do that. We can only enjoy what we’re left with.

There’s also these ones, besides Avalons and WTHCs, I thinks that’s all the colours of the suits mold chips

Is this what you mean by "grey"? I think that's not grey base color, it's blue. The lighting is making it look grey.

See I thought that too, but @TripleRangeMerger told me otherwise… idk what to believe, it wouldn’t make sense they’d make such similar coloured chips with the trimoon design so I think they’re the same too,
