I was finally able to complete a second rack of $1s for my Lucky's set, but now I have a barrel I don't need. Selling for ~$30 below my cost, $230 shipped within the U.S. (I paid ~$250 with shipping to me.)

Hmm, this idea is picking up steam. IF I did it, I wouldn't want to ship using a stamped envelope, so I'd have to ship as a package using Ground Advantage. Suddenly a $15 single becomes ~$23 after shipping with the recent USPS fuel surcharge... Is there enough interest to split off an entire barrel?

I was thinking on this some too. I’d probably personally do stamped envelopes out of ease, sell at $15/per - and hold a few back (e.g. sell 17x for $255. Then if a few are lost (not received within 30 days) or break for some reason you can replace for free.

I’ve shipped plenty of samples (albeit for free) in a protective sleeve taped to an index card without issue. That route definitely has some risk that would need to be mitigated.

Or you could always give folks the option too and let them pick the risk vs cost.
