New poker variant for the times (1 Viewer)

I’ve got an idea for a new poker variant that will help everyone playing enjoy the game more.

Basically it plays out as normal, whatever game you are playing, except the pots are awarded differently.

25% to the winner of the hand
25% to the loser(s)
50% get split up among all the players in the game equally.

This is for every pot.

This keeps everyone “in the game” and makes for a fun time for all.

If it helps you can think of the 50% to the players as an “equity tax.” It’s not fair the winners get to keep everything.

Looking forward to thoughts on this structure.

I’ve played this, except the rake was 50% of pot up to 5 bitcoin. Also, the dealer was allowed to punch the loser in the balls and slap the winner in the face (open hand only).

I guess one of the drawbacks to this kind of system game is that there’s no incentive to try and work harder play better. You get more money if you never play a hand. Kinda rigged

it’ll be interesting to see all the new strategy books that will come out on this system of poker. I think @BarrieJ3 is working on his version as of this moment.

It’s weird.

I don’t understand why someone goes out of their way to purposefully misconstrue what people say, shutdown multiple threads that had good engagement, and then continue to poke and prod with comments and new threads.

I don’t understand the need to tag me either.

• It’s not because we’re friends with enjoyable banter.
• It’s not because it’s funny - no one gives you positive feedback on it.
• It’s not to poke at me and illicit a reaction - I ignored you for years and it never stopped.

Idk man. Maybe just move on? You don’t have to. Do whatever you want. It doesn’t really bug me, but it’s old hat. No one wants to read us go back and forth.
