Here are those acorn molds I was tinkering around with a while back. Was going to put NUTS labels on them, obviously.
I think Jester’s cool and I’m unofficially calling it the mold for circus games. I’m planning on using it for my Tina cash set, and a big part of that is it relates to the circus.
Web mold to me is exactly like the circle square mold, and I actually originally thought it was designed to be that way.
I assume Justin will make a vote soon, and I’m very much expecting the geometric or general molds to be voted on the most.
Think they’d be able to do a mold AND a slight recess where the hybrid inlay currently goes? One thing I did think that could be fun, but could also just be me too - is a new non-hybrid textured mold. Imagine as an example if we had a web mold, but could print the inlay onto the center area. Lower cost, allows shaped inlays without color matching concerns, and less slippery than hybrids.
And that’s awesome history! I guess the web mold is really meant to be a home game chip! HaView attachment 1665041
I love this history
I'd rather have a couple spinners and just toss those vs losing the grip! Recessed area = slippery.Think they’d be able to do a mold AND a slight recess where the hybrid inlay currently goes?
The only downside I’ve seen to the non-hybrid are having spinners. So whatever version that could be made with ultimate grip in mind would be cool.

Makes sense, that’s what I was trying to get at. Then yes all the way, slight texture, custom shaped inlays and predictable colours sounds like a dream!I'd rather have a couple spinners and just toss those vs losing the grip! Recessed area = slippery.
Cards molds does not have texture like the hybrids. The texture itself might actually also help reduce spinners too.Since I’ve never felt them, would this “mold + non hybrid” be like the old cards mold? Or are the cards slippery (ie has no micro texture)?
If the cards don’t have the micro texture, then if we did the suits/poker theme it could be like a new/better version of the cards mold.
I meant the “micro texture”, not the cross hatching.Cards molds does not have texture like the hybrids. The texture itself might actually also help reduce spinners too.
I've always wondered why that hasn't been done. One thing I did think that could be fun, but could also just be me too - is a new non-hybrid textured mold. Got it, not sure. But I want hybrid texture/cross hatching. HaI meant the “micro texture”, not the cross hatching.
Ie, are cards mold similar in feel to BR Pro ceramics?
So if we do a cross-hatched, non-hybrid, web mold, it will be a baby version of the CPC CSQ chips?Got it, not sure. But I want hybrid texture/cross hatching. Ha
Yeah, tough to say on incremental demand, but definitely a lower price point with no label fees would appeal to new chippers. So if we do a cross-hatched, non-hybrid, web mold, it will be a baby version of the CPC CSQ chips?
I’d be down, but people might not want a second web.

Would love it though if @QuietMaple comes up with a stellar interface to import inlays into the chip art and play with shaped vs round. Then we’d really be in business!
