Anyone have friends? Would be nice to get to the max 20 entries, at least for The Masters.

Is it as awesome as we think?
I've been fortunate enough to go about 30 times. ...played it once...
10 random things you don't really grasp from TV:

10) The narrow chute on the 18 tee and uphill climb on 18.
9) How undulating almost every green is.
8) How difficult it is to try to hit the ball on the green on 11. For gosh sakes just hit the ball short & right and try to get up and down for par. Move to next hole.
7) How the shape of 12 really makes it difficult for righthanded golfers. It's very very narrow. You must get the yardage right. Pulls to the left usually go longer (no good here). Pushes to the right usually go shorter (death here).
6) How deep the fairway bunkers on 5 are.
5) How green the grass is and how white the "sand" in the bunkers is.
4) The second shot on 13 == how far above your feet the ball is on most lies (think baseball swing).
3) How the green on 15 looks like an infinity green, and how difficult it is to get a ball to stop on it. If you lay up to hit the green in 3 (regulation), you are left with the most difficult 65-100 yard shot imaginable because of the severe downhill lie that you have to a green with no depth and a false few front feet.
2) What a workout you get just walking the course.
1) How surreal it feels to be there on property. You just don't want to leave.
