I don’t see any difference in the pixigy and imgur. I’m viewing from an iPhone though.

I see no difference in colour, but I see a slightly sharper image in imgur

Yeah, I couldn’t tell the difference on iphone until I zoomed way in.

Although for ease of use, unless I’m just doing a full set up pr0n poser post, I’ll use Pixigy for 95% of chip posts /in game etc.

Yall are right. The more I zoom in on the pixigy picture the less detailed it becomes. While imgur you can clearly see the crosshatching you can probably count them.

I have plenty of $5s, may not even bring the third rack that came with the set because there would be no real need for them!

Just saw this after my post, but agree 100%. Pixigy was much more accessible to me. I wonder if using PNG file increases the detail?

Pixigy had more color when I was comparing last night, but possible it was screen location and viewing angle. If there is anything there, it’s basically 0.

Edit: Kam, maybe try HEIC “best” as one last go instead of jpeg? PNG ends up being too large, but HEIC might be the sweet spot. I tried an image and that seemed to have worked well without noticeable detail loss.

Pixigy has more color/saturation in my view, but likely some detail loss with jpeg file type/compression. The color difference is there but slight. It’s possible though the difference is also due to compression and the detail loss, not sure.

Would have to redo likely as png which is lossless, but file size might be too large to upload here.

IMGUR still looks sharpest, assume this goes back to the forum compression for pics hosted here then? The PNG pic is like 17mb on my phone gallery, however the IMGUR still looks sharper.

Hmm, yeah - seems like it’s definitely PCF compressing some. Ah well, fun experiments. So IMGUR wins for large screen/zoom, but otherwise colors are pretty consistent with Pixigy approach. Good to know!
