We see a lot of new members who found chips and got sent here. Most the time the new people (myself included) think they hit the jackpot and want to sell for $4-6/ chip. Most the time someone tells them they have crazy high value.
After the new person gets referred to Pcf they come here and want to know “what the chips are worth” before they list them for sale. They think that someone is gonna go nuts and dm them a really high offering.
New person rejects all reasonable offers via dm and either lists the chips here, too high, and they sit forever. Or they take the time and effort to set up an
eBay and try and sell them over there.
Realistically only a collector is gonna buy these and they are worth $1-$2 a chip imo. Nobody is gonna pay more for an overstamped chip than a brand new chip w/o an overstamp.
Only options are sell to a collector for fair market value. List the chips elsewhere at a high price and hope a dumbo civilian buys them.
