Nope, not an option in this ‘Would you rather?’.

Here’s your $25. Don’t like it, get out the car and you’re walking to Vegas.

*blaze $5 and blurple $20 combo is too OP and was nerfed to try and bring balance to this poll.

Except that this chip is not available except to 2ish chippers. lol.

That's the point of this entire poll. To prove to @MatB and @CraigT78 that they made poor choices by purchasing this RA line up. And even more shade being thrown at @CraigT78 for not even purchasing a Lucky's set! :ROFLMAO:

My answer is still RA.

The base colours on the Lucky frac through $5 are far too analogous for my taste. YMMV.

In this scenario, @CraigT78 and @MatB both lost their RA sets to me in a high stakes Veronica hand and I make them available.

*unfortunately, through eminent domain enforcement, all your Lucky $1s are confiscated to enable this poll.

I'm slightly patrial to the Lucky's, but Faro Dunes is chipvault's best by a country mile. FD is up there with Aurora Star in my opinion (not quite Empress Star or Tiger Palace though as those are the goats).

NAGB rankings for me:
1. Empress Star Primary Tournament
2. Tiger Palace Secondary
3. Sunset Beach Cash
4. Tiger Palace Primary
5. Aurora Star Cash
6. Faro Dunes Tournament
7. Aurora Star Tournament
8. Big Top Poker Cash
9. Sunset Beach Tournament
10. Royal Princess Casino Secondary Tournament

Would I be a clown if I would pass on both even if they were free, because I don't like the way they look (spot pattern wise)

From all of the chips I think the only ones I like are the Lucky and RA fracs and the FD T1k, and that's only if a label is slapped on them.

The other one is the FD T100 that can pass off as a tiger chip.

The 4V18 accross all these sets don't have multi-color on the round edge spots so they can't compete against the tigers or the other NAGBs.

I love them both for very different reasons. But Lucky's - is there even another Paulson set in existence with something like coordinated but different graphic hotstamps for every denom? I think in 20 years that will either have started a trend, or else be enshrined as all-time "wow" set.

I applaud @TheChipVault for using the spot pattern on the Lucky $5’s. I love it (specifically the spot pattern) for some reason and maybe others more sophisticated than me are not a big fan.
The chip itself is fantastic! Colour and hot stamp probably a favourite Vegas colour $5 for me. I just prefer the Cali colours, maybe cause I don’t play high enough stakes to get them higher denom Vegas colours in play.

If a $20 or $25 is the biggest chip on the table and is still rare, the Lucky $5 chip spots to me feels like the right amount of complexity for the workhorse.

I still voted Agave. Just… Lol

Don't you lie.
Coin toss IMO is more purpose and being limited to only one set forever.

Lucky’s would be the set for me, Rancho would be the set for others. Just depends if I’d want to serve pepperoni pizza at a party or say “fuck em” and add pineapple too because I’m the one buying. Ha

Feel like comparing the lineups based on the RA $25 makes for a little tougher comparison since there are so few $25s and most people's sets only have $20s. That being said, the RA set I pieced together is one I hope to pass down to my son some day so a pretty easy choice for me. I do love that variety of stamps on the Lucky's, they turned out great!

Noted kind sir & reminds me not to challenge a scientist on their logic. Good points, although this below view deserves to be in the controversial thread:

Faro Dunes >> Luckys

Also - do you have a link to your paulson empress tourney set pr0n? Haven’t seen those before.
There are several in the various Raise in Arizona meetup threads as they have been used there for the Main Event and other side events since the beginning. For ease of viewing, here are a few from the last couple years.

PCA secondary $25, primary $100, Empress primary $500 and $1k. Casablanca $100s over-labeled as Empress $5k.

I absolutely love these chips! Lucky timing on some (the PCA's, particularly the condition-sorted $100s from @TheChipRoom in the way-back times on CT. Lots of work to get the two racks of $500s and extreme luck to get the last rack-and-a-half of the $1ks. Infinite love and shout out to @Gear for the labels for the $5ks which look like they came straight from Paulson!).

Wow, double confirmation that the Agaves are the correct choice!

I voted for them too. The Lucky's chips are interesting, but the Agaves color combos are a lot better imho. And, for some strange reason I reeeeally like that $1 a lot.

Luckys stamps, $25 and $100 give it a fighters chance. If the colors were inverted on the $1 then it would get my vote.

The RA $5 I think is doing a bit too much. The colors and spot progression feels more like a $1K 43mm chip. Otherwise that would be one of my top NAGB’s.
