This billboard has been on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix for a few years and always made me laugh every time I saw it. I was a passenger in the car this last weekend and was finally able to get a picture.

I suspected it was because they were planning on building one in the area and after a moment of research after taking this photo, I discovered there is one under construction on the west side of Phoenix, basically one of the first things you'll come across driving in from California.

Yep - this is a common Buc-ees practice. Builds excitement, secures the billboard, and adds a bit of humor which is much desired on long road trips.

We have one in the Nashville area declaring only 365 miles (or roughly that number) because the closest one is in Georgia, but they are building one 3 miles from the sign.

In the past 10 - 15 years I'm not so sure I'm not living in a Left side of the road country. Assholes enter the highway and go immediately into the Left "passing" lane and proceed to do the speed limit there (if you're lucky). Meanwhile, if its a 3 lane highway, I can do 100mph + in the right lane because nobody's in it! I hate passing people on the right side because that's in the blind spot. The worst part is that tractor trailers do the same thing! I mean where are they getting trained? They go in the left lane and die there and I got to pass them on the right. I honk my horn and flash my lights so that they know I'm coming around. I'm old enough to remember back in the day when there was a culture and truckers moved over to let you buy. Truckers flash their lights to let you know you were clear and you could return in front of them. When you flashed your lights and let a trucker in front of you, they'd flash their lights to say thank you. All that seems to be out the window these days. End of rant.

Not quite the reaction I expected... but I'll take it!:LOL:
