Yes, you want the Binions labels?Looking at getting some cowboy themed ones, something like this, is there a way to customize what the denominations would be? Want to do either 5¢/1bit, 25¢, $1, $5 denoms. View attachment 1634919
I'll be tweaking these a bit (updated the picture), and might find another inlay (are there people that create inlays here?).
Also, what is a binion?
Benny Binion, the man in the photo on those chips. Founded Binion's Horseshoe casino in Las Vegas, and the World Series of Poker, among many other things. Also, what is a binion?
Hi Justin,
We have never had the Treasure Islands made on a hybrid chipHi Justin,
I'm split...more like torn between the Grand Casino (Greek Mold) and Treasure Islands (Web Mold) in 39mm.
I was leaning towards the Treasure Islands until I saw the image above, so do you have any photos of the Treasure Islands?
I'm looking to purchase a 300 chip set shipped to Denmark, but may buy 400 as I'd love to have a sample of all denoms.
Thanks,
Randle
Thanks Justin, that makes this even more interesting...do I take the chance and be the firstWe have never had the Treasure Islands made on a hybrid chip
Yes. Those you've posted above are textured no mold and the horseshoe around the chip is printed to look like a house mold.Ok thank you. So the "inlay" is not a sticker, but its printed on like the edge spots would be printed on? Bc I noticed the cowboy ones I wanted are not actually a hybrid, its listed with the cards/no molds. Would I still provide a sticker graphic that I wanted? Is there a tradeoff between sticker and printed? Also it has a cowboy themed horseshoe mold. Is that something that was custom, or can I order it like that? Are the horseshoes stamped in, or are those just printed and I'm tripping?View attachment 1635832
Oh clever, TYSM. I think I prefer the actual molded hybrids, so i may just do a web or something generic for the rimYes. Those you've posted above are textured no mold and the horseshoe around the chip is printed to look like a house mold.

There are a few different PCF's that are designers that can help with creating custom chips and inlays with Adobe Illustrator. I'm assuming your are looking for some custom edge spot options that aren't exactly what you need/want that Chipmatic currently offers? From what I've found from Chipmatic I can basically do anything I've seen from "real" poker chips and much more beyond that.I know there is chipomatic, but it does not do some things I want to play around with, what do people use for modeling different chip options? Or do we have to just wait for chipomatic to ad more options. I don't want to wait more than a month or so to get an order in, but I do have some time. I saw @timinater but looks like he does not do mockups anymore.
The chip on the left is card mold, on the right is web mold hybrid. You can see how much more detailed the printing on the sticker is.Is there a tradeoff between sticker and printed?
This is so very helpful thank you! the idea of the printed-on ones seems cool, but the sticker one is definitely sharper. Which one lasts longer in practice? Which do you prefer? The chip on the left is card mold, on the right is web mold hybrid. You can see how much more detailed the printing on the sticker is.

I prefer the hybrids. I'm still new enough to ceramics that I can't really comment on which last longer.Which one lasts longer in practice? Which do you prefer?
Oh good question about the sticker alignment. I can answer the part about it being a sticker. It is a sticker for hybrids, it is not a sticker for textured/card-molds.Hi all - I'm a long time lurker, but finally signed up because these Tina chips are so interesting. I tried out the chipmatic tool with some existing artwork from an old progen 80 custom cash set I want to extend.
Looking at the 43mm web mold Tina hybrids and reading around the PCF, I think I'm understanding that the image in the center is truly a sticker, not a bonded inlay or part of the overall chip printing?
If it is a sticker, I'm also guessing that it will be centered when applied, but not rotationally aligned, so I shouldn't depend on the edge spots being aligned to any certian point on the sticker? For example, in the attached image, my pirate skull could have edge spots directly above his head, or blue space, or the asymetrical alignment shown - different for each chip, right?
sorry for the long first post - can't PM yet and I'm pumped about this group buy thing!
