I’ve got a full series of beaver cappers but this is usually the one I grab.

2 more showed up.

Octopus and Tiger are hollow molds- so pretty light. Feel like a little bit of bait n’ switch on the tiger vs the first image they sell you on.

The dragon is beasty and solid /heavy - definitely more premium.

stumbled across this one
a little large (4" is smallest of 6 sizes (15 colors))
probably can request smaller

Made a whole new post on accident. Because I didn’t realize some called them cappers. You learn something new everyday haha. Here’s my addition to the thread.
Thought it’d be fun for us to show our card protectors and maybe tell a story if they have sentimental value. I’ll start.

I use this Zippo as one of my card protectors; it belonged to my late grandfather who passed away two years ago. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and he was my hero but he was not a poker player. I found this is his box of nick-nacks that he kept in his closet. He wasn’t a gambler like my father’s side is and I chuckled when I found it because it seemed like he meant for me to have it; this zippo sure means a lot to me and is much more than a card protector. It took 15 years for the cancer to catch up to him along with a bad hip replacement but he fought to the bitter end, I carry this zippo in my pocket to every poker game so he is always with me.

Pictured below is his zippo and the last photo I got of him in what he called “my cool new shades” as well as two photos of him in Nam he was the strongest man I ever met.

Ok, I have to ask, where’d you buy this one from? I’ve seen my share and they were all cheaply made. This guy looks legit!!!
It was a father's day gift from my boys years ago so unfortunately I have no idea. I subsequently glued him to a starburst chip to make him a capper :)

I think I found him. Looks like I’ll be reporting back to this thread soon with one of my own haha

Meanwhile, meet the newest member of my card capper collection, and my new undisputed #1 for the foreseeable future.

Grew up pretty obsessed with Cookie Monster. Figured it was time to rekindle that beautiful friendship now that I’m a grown man who plays cards for “fun.”

C is for Cookie, ladies and gentlemen.

C is also for certain four-letter words that end in unt… but we’re keeping it wholesome today.

Mostly.

C is for COOKIE!
