Custom Bank Bags - Review/Supplier Details (1 Viewer)

Thought I'd make a separate post in the event someone is looking for info on these to buy some or run a group buy. Had these made for @TheChipVault and love how they came out. The bag has a metallic gold sheen print (hard to photo).

Variable printing costs - can see via link, but a few things I confirmed via phone that weren't on the site:

• MoQ is 25, but they would be willing to do multiple designs potentially (within reason) inside that quantity
• Setup fee is $40, but that setup fee is really just his time to print (at $40/hour). So more designs would likely need to adjust quote.

Overall though, placed the order (during the holiday) and still received within a few weeks. 10/10

What other fees are there (cost of bag, shipping) other than the $40? Or, what was the cost of 25 bags out the door?

Looks like 25 bags before shipping is $182.50, so about $7.30 per bag.

All-in (bags, taxes, shipping, fees) it was around $200 for 25 (they gave a few extras too). But pricing goes down with higher order quantities. If they're open to doing a few designs (e.g. 10 per design required) within the MoQ, might be able to get it to be a more reasonable group buy. Thinking likely best suited for things like NAGB, meetup favors, etc.

Also not sure on their willingness to print any IP like Casino names, etc.. may be a big limiter. Did not ask.

Yeah, I was thinking meetup hosts could use multiple bags. That, or a casino/chip set specific bag. But who has only one set?!

Yeah, I scoured etsy first - but not as good of quality IMO (or embroidered bags which I didn't want), and also would be like ~$30-$50/bag.

I haven't seen a proper bank bag in ages. Going to ask a banker buddy if they still use those--I think I only need one until a NAGB happens.

I used three random-ass bags for my meetup this year. Custom bags would be dope. Hell, if the MOQ was 10, I could probably convince myself to just buck up and order them even if I don’t need more than a couple.

One person (usually the host) is the banker. All the cash buy ins /cash out are from that bag. Helps to separate your own bank roll from the ‘bank’ and also helps give some visibility at the table of where all the money is.

Helps if there’s multiple tables like at a meetup - each table would have a banker with one of these for cash games. Not required, but an upgrade from an old tattered Chase cash envelope I’d use or the ziploc baggy

I’d happily open my Hoser Hut logo design up to others too if there’s interest.

I have a re-shipper, thank-you! Just meant that it doesn’t make sense for me to organize a GB from another continent when a majority of interest would likely be stateside.

Would be happy to do a Euro-GB if there’s interest though (though even then, shipping to an EU address probably makes more sense vs a Swiss one).
