Any interesting card cappers you’d like to share?

I’ve decided to follow in @k9dr shoes and order some mini brass cappers for each of my sets.

I got this little guy as a gift from my tattoo artist. Seemed apt. Kind of goes with the demon on my back shoulder. You can tell just by looking at this guy, he’s a freakin calling station. I much prefer when he’s feeling more aggressive. 😂

I have a few that I use but my main one is called a Shuffle. It's a Zirc/Titanium fidget toy made by a Chinese EDC company named Lautie. High quality materials and fits the poker theme perfectly. Plenty of weight so it'll never get knocked off your cards. And It clicks and slides and is a great alternative to fidget with when you're tired of shuffling chips 😅

This is really neat, where did you find them?

This reminds me of one of my all time favorite shirts a friend of mine was wearing in a very public place. There was an occasional muttering, but mostly people just laughing hysterically. Initially, I was pretty mortified. He worked for me and it was a business trip. We just happened to have an afternoon without any scheduled meetings. My buddy and I decided to go hang out at the pool and have drinks and he comes walking out in this shirt.

It turns out, the stuffy people from the meetings had senses of humor after all. Made the rest of the trip much lighter! It was great.

I used to bring one of my cocks. I think people got tired of looking at my cocks though.:cry:View attachment 1630522

They also have listings on eBayView attachment 1630529
Almost pulled the trigger on their bronze dragon, but already have 2 dragon cappers on their way. The detail on this one is pretty cool, although probably not card mark friendly (unlike their actual protectors):

Does look sick, though. Bet some well placed glue and some of that powdered felt applied to the bits that would be in contact with the card/table could take care of that. Worst case, glue it to a small mount, maybe? I need to rethink my plastic toy. Some of you guys have some really cool cappers! Decades ago, I had a really cool pewter snoopy dancing on a die that was cool. Some asshole decided to take out his frustration on my poor snoopy and decapitated him. 😢

I think of you when I see this one

The website prices are cheaper plus you get a 10% Off Code on top of it.

I’ve got the code in hand and am shopping now. lol I think the shark is more suited to Kaleb, but he’s too grown up to use a capper these days. I do typical dad stuff and play with my little guy when I’m not in a hand. He likes that a lot. 🤭🤣 Yes, he’s 15 and more mature (not particularly close, either) than his 51 year old dad. 😂😂

For me Baby Lindor is more of a stack capper because I use chips in seal tites as card cappers but he occasionally gets brought down for extra luck. The fielder is 2024 and the batter is 2025. Had to throw away Baby Alonso along with his City Connect jersey.

45 rpm record adapter from WFMU.org

WFMU-FM is a listener-supported, non-commercial radio station broadcasting at 91.1 Mhz FM in Jersey City, NJ, right across the Hudson from lower Manhattan. It is currently the longest running freeform radio station in the United States.
...

WFMU’s programming ranges from flat-out uncategorizable strangeness to rock and roll, experimental music, 78 RPM Records, jazz, psychedelia, hip-hop, electronica, hand-cranked wax cylinders, punk rock, gospel, exotica, R&B, radio improvisation, cooking instructions, classic radio airchecks, found sound, dopey call-in shows, interviews with obscure radio personalities and notable science-world luminaries, spoken word collages, Andrew Lloyd Webber soundtracks in languages other than English as well as Country and western music.

All of the station’s programming is controlled by individual DJs and is not beholden to any type of station-wide playlist or rotation schedule. Experimentation, spontaneity and humor are among the station’s most frequently noted distinguishing traits. WFMU does not belong to any existing public radio network, and close to 100% of its programming originates at the station.

(Streams online and has archives going back 20+ years)

As well as card cappers they also do t-shirts :D
