I dunno - I think that frac is a bit of a sleeper. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up at the top of the heap at some point.
You all did such a great job though - every chip is beautiful. And the pink on the watermelons, and the yellow of the $1s, both really GLOW.

I'm learning just how far out of the inner circle I am around here. :ROFLMAO:

Beautiful chips!
In fairness from as far as I can tell from the posts in Mark's meetup thread where revealed, this feels more like PCF being degenerates vs an inner club. Although, maybe a mix of both. Ha
  • Early teasers posted in Mark's meetup thread as well as anticipated breakdowns
  • PCFers reached out immediately to buy sight unseen
  • ...
  • Reveal and basically sold out before even public.

I hate to say it, but @RocAFella1 ‘s persistance on bridge size badgering may have paid off. Out of my 25ish setups, only have 1 bridge set up because of his naggin’ - the Lucky’s metal cut cards only come in bridge size so they’ll get broken in tomorrow.

Also realized that this whole chipset launch is just a cover scam by @Cratty to funnel more volume to his bridge sized card cartel:

Ordered a few more of the new red & blue bridge setups to be used with the Lucky’s:

These are quite hard to photograph to show the surprising amount of fine detail in the stamp and not then get blinded by a flash of gold:

The stamp detail is incredible! You can even make out the tiny individual characters on the coin.

I'm trying to make out the characters here, but it seems to say:

"天下大吉" (Tiān xià dà jí) means "Great auspiciousness under heaven" or "Universal great fortune." It's one of the most common and powerful inscriptions on Chinese feng shui coins (huā qián 花錢), symbolizing peace, prosperity, and protection for all under heaven.

Correct me if I'm wrong, @Cratty

Thanks, that's much clearer now. Everything else looks right, but I'm not sure about this character. By context it should be 天 (sky) , which together with 下 forms 天下 (all under heaven). It looks just a tiny bit off, but... close enough! Probably a forgery anyway. Be careful buying stuff in Chinatown. :p

Yeah, I think intent was the below if I recall, but left character definitely more stylized and lost some clarity as I was reworking for the stamp (so that it was actually stamped and somewhat legible).

[IGNORE - See Below from Sleepypiggly]

But I'll dig more for the original coin inspiration. Assume this was definitely more of a designed vs traditional lucky coin though. I originally had different characters too, but again had to cut and find a coin that worked with smaller and less complicated symbols for the stamp to be approved.

Yes, that's probably it. Calligraphy brush strokes can get wild.

大元 → at the core / fundamentally
下吉 → lower-grade good fortune / modest luck

Approx reading:
“Fundamentally good fortune, modest in degree.”
or
“The foundation is lucky, though not extravagant.”
What, no no those combos don't make sense. I think AI chatbot is feeding garbage here.

The pairings read left right, then top down

Left: 元 — source / origin 天 — sky / heaven
Right: 下 — descending / arriving

Top: 大 — Big / great
Bottom: 吉 — Good fortune

下 → all under heaven
大吉 → big fortune

"天下大吉" (Tiān xià dà jí) means "Great auspiciousness under heaven" or "Universal great fortune."

@sleepypiggly I'm good with your interpretation/identification! Trust you on it vs slop. Will still see if I can find original coin later which should hopefully clear up some.

Also getting ready for poker tonight at @mike32 's. I did oil the barrels now too, definitely makes the brown/red pop a bit more.

There is an auction that is currently running that will end tomorrow afternoon. It is the only set left and open for anyone that wishes to participate. I really tried to get these more to the masses but I obviously didn't get enough again. Not my fault.. I was told that the market is SATURATED!!! Good LUCK!!!
