Experimenting with a DIY RFID Table and Broadcast Overlay (2 Viewers)

no worries, I understand perfectly! it's just that this project was very interesting and so well started...then it stopped abruptly (technical constraint?) I just wanted to get some news.... Thanks for your feedback ;)

v3 board arrived today, initial testing shows a big improvement in RIFD/antenna performance even without any tuning attempted yet... really encouraging!

I also added some flash memory to this revision to support the firmware requirements as they grow because I think they will as we get further into software development. Haven't tested it much yet, but it does seem to wake up and communicate so w00t

Very happy today!
Hello from Türkiye, eightyWon. Would it be possible for you to share the PCB layout? I'd like to use it in another RFID project. [email protected].

When you see on his account that his last login was today, I'm not too worried about him. I think he simply doesn't have time for this project anymore.

Good read!
Wish the project got finished! But I totally understand project migration 😅

A poker mat seems like it’d be awesome if the hardware could be thin enough and flexible enough.

As for interacting with the dealer, what about having them mic’d? Generally the dedicated dealer is talking to the control room(?) anyway, if the software could pick up verbal queues “[seat position] checks/folds/calls/raises” - that seems like it could solve a lot of the chip counting and muck reading logic. May also be lighter on the hardware side than a camera?

Lots of other things that you can use voice cues for too - which seat is on the button, bet sizing, etc.

Musing about this.. it’d also be cool to have your personal stats available live. Register to your seat, give your player info.. or a log of all the hands for after the game? Vlog players would probably prefer this over recording all hands and community cards and what other players reveal..

Probably some holes in the logic here.. but this seems exciting.. maybe I’ll do some research on existing solutions before toying with the idea some more.

Thanks for sharing your project work thus far!
