Apples got a great lineup but poor marketing imo. Their deal with f1 next year should bring in more subscribers but probably lead to price increases in the future

Agreed, they don’t have that much content but at the same time it’s not as much empty crap to wade through to find the good stuff as with other services.

Is anyone watching Pluribus? I want to like it, but I don't think I am....
I’m still with the program but it’s definitely on the slow side. I gave up on Severence for this very reason, but I’m still enjoying Pluribus.

Spoiler alert:

I guess it’s the lack of an imminent threat for the main character combined with the slow burn. The show is certainly intriguingly weird but that’ll only keep interest up to a certain point. I have hopes for the Latin American fellow.

Man, the Season 2 finale of Shrinking had me in tears, insanely emotional at the end.

Just started Pluribus and the first episode has our interest.

My wife and I just watched the first episode of Pluribus. We’re also looking forward to the next episode. “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” anyone!

Wife and I are enjoying:

Pluribus
Murderbot

And we just started the US Version of a tv show called "Ghosts" about a couple who inherit an old mansion and the wife hits her head and nearly dies and can see the ghosts (all from different eras) living in the house and we're two episodes in and having fun with it as well.

Ghosts is great - both the US and the UK versions.

Simple sitcom, loose story arc, but funny. We use it as a wind-down for the night.

loved both. between those, severance, silo, and for all mankind, apple got the tv scifi market on near lockdown lately (fallout on amazon is amazing).

people also rave about foundation but i can't get into it. dark matter was decent.

Severance is unhinged, my favorite character is Mr Milchick. His crazy dancing and ability to go from friendly to frightening is just phenomenal.

Silo has been a fun romp, kinda fits in that vault/fallout style universe.

Dark Matter was alright, didn't wow us.

Tried getting into Counterpart (kind of like a mixture of Fringe meets Dark Matter) but wife got of it a few episodes in.

Fallout was great in Season 1, coming across a bit weaker at the start of this season but hoping they can turn it around.

Shrinking is an absolute riot (Jason Segal and Harrison Ford)

Haven't seen "for all mankind" but will take a look. We have so much grimdark/sci-fi/apocalypse/mystery type stuff the wife needed some lighter fare, so luckily Murderbot (sci-fi comedy) is fitting the bill well with the SEC unit obsessed with The Rise & Fall of Sanctuary Moon tv series and Ghosts has us both chuckling as well.

counterpart was great and i was very disappointed that starz cancelled it.

i do agree fallout seems a bit weaker so far this season, but the insane production value and constant easter eggs for video game nerds are helping make up for it.

for all mankind is far more grounded in reality/actual technology than the rest of the shows we just discussed, but i like it for exactly that reason. definitely worth a watch. it's an alternate history im the same vein as the man in the high tower, but in space.

just started watching "3 Body Problem" and intrigued where it'll go.

Tried to watch the new game of thrones spinoff "A Knight of the Realm" but these fucking showrunners today can't help themselves (looking at you "The Boys") and have to try and include gross shit for no reason other than showing gross shit.

Literally, I don't need to see the main character taking a shit on camera. There's no fucking point to it, it's not artistic, it's fucking lazy writing. And I've heard in episode 2 they have some old guy with his dong out taking a piss. So we aren't going to continue with the series.

High Potential is back, starring that giant bird from Always Sunny, Dee. It's kinda our poor mans Psych. We really miss The Mick, which also starred Kaitlin Olson. The trailers for it looked terrible but the actual show as a riot, was sad to see it cancelled.
