1. One full set of those chips were given to the new owner. I also have a full set and so does David Sarles. A lot of them were actually rejects. I have never touched mine and neither has David. You would have to ask Mike what his plans are going forward and what he is going to do with the set he has. Every other (basically reject) custom chips that were on the factory property were destroyed some time ago. Nothing else went to Mike. The chips I have been selling recently, of which the final ones are in the mail to me, were from the contents of Jim Blanchard's trailer which I purchased 3 years ago and to my knowledge all made in the ASM or Burt Co. days. They were only at the factory as I had nowhere else to store them.
2. The chips shown in that other thread were not just samples. They included some replacements and an add-on for European customers, shipped via me in the UK to save costs. The box was stolen from USPS and showed up on eBay. I had to buy them back from eBay and then passed them on to the relevant owners.
