Why are these so expensive?

Like no one has posted publicly where all they’re coming from and why they keep coming in. Like, how are the prices maintaining despite the source not drying up?

Obviously I don’t know how chipping works given my extensive history of poor purchases and sales

They were only used in the Main Event at the final table. Our assumption has been there was only a few racks of these ever made.

Are there…other wsop final table high denom chips that be made it out before? Obviously not as cool as these as it’s like everyone’s grail wsop set.

Is there any idea how many? I have no clue if you guys got them all, or if they’re just coming out 1 by 1 or barrel by barrel.

(Obviously don’t have to answer anything that might hurt the auction or sales!)

A few singles made it out before this year. But the majority got released on eBay this last spring by singles and a few of us gobbled them up by the barrels.

They are now in the hands of collectors and are locked up imho. These are some of my extras. Only reason I have extras was I made a trade and got these back in the trade.
