There are a lot of Tina themed chips, but what are some unexplored themes you think are missing from the lineup?

For me...
A pirate themed set
An Area 51 themed set (have done mockups)
An African safari themed set
A set themed similar to Excalibur
A tropical island / volcano themed set
An ancient Egyptian themed set

A national parks theme
A solar system theme
A Star Wars starships theme (x-wing, y-wing, Millenium falcon, tie fighter, etc)
A shady hotel theme like, going all in on a Motel 6 (something grimier, or a "motor inn") would be pretty funny.
A microbiology theme where each denom is a different bacteria.
Seashells
Trees/leaves

  1. Spaghetti Western visual aesthetic (Sergio Leone style)
  2. Grand Teton Mountains: Trout fly fishing theme
  3. Havana Nights: Havana, Cuba theme
  4. A “Vaporwave” style Thunderbird theme. Is this sacrilege?

Love the Area 51 idea. Its nickname of “Dreamland” could be cool as well

Thinking outside the pre-defined set "box"...

I would like to see a full (that is, all popular denominations for cash and tourney) tribute set to famous old Casinos - so each denom would have a distinctive label for a different (in)famous old casino, not necessarily only Vegas venues. I really wish I could pick and choose labels from the existing pre-defined sets to put on the chip designs of my choice but would be very very happy if a single old casinos tribute set got designed. The money is ready to be spent!!

Maybe the designers who create pre-defined sets could create mix-n-matched label sets that combine labels from their pre-defined sets. The other thing that would be helpful to me is to know, for each pre-defined set, who the artist is. This info seems to be kind of buried. I would use it to contact the designers to see if they would be willing to create a custom mix-n-match old casino tribute set using their pre-defined label sets.

The Tina custom chip set phenomenon is a blossoming cottage industry!! I would love for designers to create chip designs and, separately, label sets, so turbo-charged set customization is possible.

Which famous old casinos do you have in mind? I'd like to add inlay templates to Chipmatic that are tributes to notable casinos, but I actually don't know the casino world that well so if there are specific ones you have in mind, let me know!

Pretty sure some have been done before, but almost any "Atomic Age" or Mid-Century Modern designs always tickle my fancy.

I have posted elsewhere that if I could create my own casiono tribute set I'd include a label for the Mirage (black, $100), Palms ($500), Tropicana ($1000), Grand (Gulfport, MS) and Sands. These are all labels in the pre-defined sets. Other old, extinct casinos in Vegas would include the Dunes, El Rancho, Desert Inn, Stardust, Alladin, Las Vegas Club, Landmark, Moulin Rouge, Silver Slipper, Binion's. I believe all of these are commemorated in the pre-designed Tina sets but it isn't currently possible to mix-n-match the labels.

If I'm not mistaken, @justincarothers allows mix and matching the Tina labels across the different base chips.

If you can provide Justin with your multi-label artwork in a single .ai file you would incur the single $80 label fee. If however you simply order 100 Mirage $100s and 100 Palms 500s and 100 Tropicana $1000s, which would be a fulfillable order, you would incur three $80 label fees! So you would have to get a designer to gather the individual labels into a single .ai file and I've been told that a many designers would not take kindly to such a request unless are the included labels were originally created by the designer you hire for this mix-n-match challenge. Which is part of the reason I wish the designer of each pre-deisgned set was public info.
