Just curious how one gets quantities of 300, 329, 271 and 161 without playing with the chips? GLWS?

They came together from several smaller purchases back then, not one single set — I bought them in individual quantities from a seller in the US, which is why the numbers are a bit uneven.

I thought all of the posts were suspicious for that including the OP, but sort of gave the benefit of the doubt that it might be translated/cleaned up with AI rather than being generated pure. Plus you could use AI to write inflammatory responses too, so I guess I can give some credit for that.

Haha, fair enough — English isn’t my first language, so I use some translation software to help me write clearly. Definitely all me though . And thanks — I’d rather keep things friendly than start fights.

Definitely not. This one has the history, and it shows OP to be a stand up guy who quickly recognized he needed to make some adjustments. Starting a new thread would be like running away, as if he had something to hide.

I honestly hate when sellers close a thread, only to reopen a new one for the exact same item. It comes across as shady to me.

What happened to the no thread crapping rule? It’s fairly embarrassing sometimes watching people flex their seeming vast knowledge on unsuspecting newbies. I’m sorry for the poor reception, you’ve shown much more class than the responders, welcome!

The rest were just cheekily poking fun. The first hour of the thread was completely different than what followed, and once OP edited and proved to be a real and reasonable person everyone instantly changed their tune. We're all rooting for GerChipCollector now.

My comment, which sadly shared the same sentiment as btp, is more so the fact that if you even “glws” certain people’s sale threads, you’d have a warning or your house burned down by mods/admins.

I won’t speak for others, just personally I would be looking for any modicum of consistency.

I know that admin/modding is a thankless job, and there’s nothing they can do right to make everyone happy at once. Once you have been here longer, you will unlock access to the meetup and home game forum. I have personally met PCF members who live from one coast to the other in the US and Canada, as well as several foreign members. I've been in several of their homes, including one in Iceland! And some of them have been in mine. Most of us like to think of PCF as a community, not just a forum.

So yeah, sometimes we take liberties and treat other members like our red-headed step-brother. And many of them don't take it as well as you did. So welcome to the community. We're glad that you're here.
