Keep an eye on marketplace while you look for chip sets. Texas seems to produce some good sets on fb.

I’ve looked for a few months and still wasn’t able to find anything good! I do think I got an offer accepted on a Tina set that should last me years that I am very excited for

Well my friend that all depends. Will the chips themselves last several years? Sure. Might not be the same grade as when you started. Especially if they are your daily driver chip set.

Your Tina set will last longer if you have multiple sets in rotation. Thus..you will need/WANT more chips.

And stopping at one set is just erroneous! Cmon!

Right now it’s all NLHE usually between .2/.4 and .25/.50 blinds - mostly just an opportunity to get friends together as we are all starting to have families but me and another buddy have really gotten into it and have had a pretty profitable summer run which is currently funding my new set!

You will find most 1/2 1/3 games play bigger than other places. Quite normal to find 100+ dollar raises preflop.
