Show me your favorite chip from a real casino! I've been thinking about beginning a collection of $1 chips of every casino I visit, and would love some inspiration!

Does this count as current or both (obsolete and current)?

Sure, why not! I would love to see current ones as those actually mean I could travel to them and try to collect a few, but it would be great to see some historical ones to compare the differences.

A tough call on my favorite, so I have to pick two:

California Club 2nd edition $25 from 1952 or 1953. Long closed, but this small place in Downtown Vegas became my collecting obsession not terribly long after I started collecting chips. The two sides were different, with the bear logo that was also on the sign in front of the place on one side and the name, location and denomination on the other. The photo doesn't do this chip justice as the bear is printed in metallic gold ink, so it shines more than it shows here. These are super uncommon with only a handful known to exist.

One of the $100 chips from the MGM Grand that were in play on the tables during the infamous "Bite Night", you know, the night Mike Tyson bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear. @Okku made a video about these chips and the history of why they are so special (and rare):
