I’ve had an awesome time on this site over the past 18 months. Met some great people, built some great sets, sold some great sets (always at a loss, don’t worry). This series of posts is dedicated to the idea that there is such thing as “enough.”

Consider this my chipping retirement series. Keeping two cash sets and two tournament sets. Selling all the rest. (Retirement sale thread coming soon.) I’m creating separate posts for the cash vs tournament sets so they can be searchable if someone is ever looking for inspiration.

Cash Set #1: Paris, LV
100 x Royal Princess Casino Peach Frac (will never be murdered, don’t worry @TheRealTeddyKGB )
400 x Paris $1 inlay
400 x Royal Princess Casino $5 (relabeled)
200 x Big Top Poker $2 (relabeled)
100 x Tiger Palace T100k (relabeled)

I went ahead and took you off the distribution list.. you're welcome  :ROFLMAO:

I thought these were going to be the ones for sale rather than your keepers! Didn’t understand why there was no bidding in the comments xD

The set collecting world isn’t impacted by any one person’s retirement.

However, it would appear that the set collecting world has lost a not insignificant amount of chippers in recent months/years to retirement, who operated as folks regularly buying and selling entire sets, often/always at a loss.

When the overwhelming % of highly active sellers/buyers need to “win” in chipping exchanges, the hobby desperately needs those other kinds of chippers.

Public PCF/classifieds is like sitting at a table full of nits and OMCs.

Congrats on the journey. It was always fun to ogle your sets and sales. Best wishes and hope the 4 remaining sets provide contentment.

I thought these were thes ones you were selling at first. I was like, "Damn. If this dude is selling off Empress Stars and RPCs, what kind of solid gold sets is he keeping!?"

This makes more sense.

Well it has been great getting to know you and I will miss doing business with you my friend. You are keeping two killer sets that anyone would be proud of. Best wishes Noah.

I echo the sentiments of the others on here and selfishly hope your retirement will be temporary and something will recharge your batteries. On the other hand, you have several amazing sets and if you’re at a stage you’re happier stepping back, I’m truly happy for you! I only did business with you a couple times, but you’re a great guy and never tried to get the better of me. Super fair, honest, etc from the first time we spoke. Don’t be a stranger, even if you’re not haggling over chips with the rest of us degens.
