They are Chipcos to begin with -- Chipco / GOCC owns the designs...I’ll tell you what, I’ve never opposed knockoffs from a perspective of how they might affect the value of my chips. But if I were a guy who’d payed a lot of money for the Chipco Monsters chips or the Egyptians, I’d be livid if those designs were copied onto Chipcos.
I agree. We can do better.Very interesting. @Tommy how do these compare to old chipco blanks?
Totally agree that ceramics should take full advantage of printable chip face but don’t just reprint old designs. There’s tons of great creatives on the site right now, make something new. Those Egyptians are tired, let them rest.

Right? I might be a buyer of linen finish chipcos; those are fantastic.Doubt they’ll compare to the “linen” finish chipcos of the past, which were the premium ones, imo.
100%Agreed, last thing I would be interested in is a rehash/repop of an existing design/set, there's Tina's for that.
Something original (and non-cartoonish) would be great.
I assume this would help with spinners though, which Chipcos were notorious for. Here is a close up of a recess mold chip. I just noticed the company logo stamped into this style blank.

I personally like the non-recess, smooth original blank better.
Nothing wrong with them, I just feel been there, done that
As far as I know, Chipcos were slightly concave on each side to prevent spinners.I assume this would help with spinners though, which Chipcos were notorious for.

Yeah I’ve never had spinner problems.
Interesting. I suppose what I had in the past that I believed to be Chipcos may not have actually been. This is 10 years ago. I definitely had spinner issues. Thanks for chiming in with your experience.Yeah I never had spinner issues with legit Chipcos either.
