gonna be honest this is a pretty ragtag 25/50c college house game with some interesting buy-ins. typically we'll do $20 buy-ins and have anywhere from 5-9 players. most of the table is quite casual but we play super frequently. I'm well aware that a 40BB buy-in makes no sense (typically results in people rebuying up to around 100-150 throughout the night), but for whatever reason the group is very change-averse. There's no interest in lowering blinds or raising the buy-in (much to my dismay) so this is pretty much the denomination stack we've built out that works for the game.
With that being said - would love any recommendations for how you'd recommend structuring this game as a more typical 25/50 or a .1/.2, might be easier to lead the charge in changing the game if I can get the chips and then force the group into changing.
Edit*: I'm also very keen to the fact that this is an absolutely ridiculous way to play poker, but dealing with other college guys is like trying to herd cats (at least the game is soft)
I can get that, lol. Instead of clogging up Justin's group buy thread I suggest you post looking for advice in the Home Game sub-forum. You'll get a ton of help.
