DID attendees are being given a sneak peak at the new Rancho Agave line up. You can look at my avatar here to get a glimpse of a rendering. The line up is a hot-stamped Top Hat Cane molded tequila / southwest inspired cash set with non traditional denominations and a non traditional color scheme featuring a southwest color palette. It's really unique and I hope you all like it.
Stock sets will offer .25, $1, $5 and $20 chips.. with limited add-ons of $50 and $100 chips. Additionally, there were $25 chips but I believe that all of these have already been spoken for. A limited combination of 500pc and 900pc sets will be available for purchase. Roughly the equivalent of 30 full 900pc sets combined available. 900pc sets are projected to be priced at $3.89 per chip ($3499 plus shipping). At that price, it is a very attractive semi custom option for milling and inlays with
@Gear Gear has done an assessment of the Faro Dunes and approved them for round and some shaped inlays.. I expect the Rancho Agaves to at least meet that standard. I have priced them very aggressively and they should not last long by my estimation.
I can say that between DID attendees and my 'dirty dozen (aka 5 figure Faro club)' that I estimate that
over half of the inventory is already spoken for. I still need to reach out to a few of the dozen.
What's next... I'm having an absolute blast at
@CraigT78 's DID, so no work is really being done of the logistics of the sale. When I return back to the east coast, I have a fairly busy schedule plus I have the PHL meetup up coming in a few short weeks. I still need to uncrate all the chips, sort everything out, roll around in piles of them, take great photos, list them here under their own thread and load them into to the website for sale. My goal is to kick off the sale for the remainder of the chips around the time of the PHL meet-up. I expect to debut the chips in play at a cash table at
@MegaTon44 's PHL meetup. That is the 1 year anniversary of me attending meeting ups and what inspired me to bring the Faro Dunes and Rancho Agave to market.
Best Regards,
