Shenanigans at the Barrel House (4 Viewers)

Tourney night, hoping the snow doesn't chase away any more horses.....

Happy with the results tonight. Came in 2nd behind Brandon. This was my stack after amassing a bunch of these beautiful chips. A few hands really brought my stack up. The big hand was I wake up with Pocket Kings. One player goes all in for like $6,000 and the player next to me Luke decides he wants to isolate with 6 3 suited of clubs and he goes all in after having pretty much a newly rebought stack. I have to call thinking even though he could have Aces, but then it could be Ace King or smaller Pocket Pair. I was relieved when I called seeing a 6 3 and not any pair. Then I caught a few great hands vs some all ins after that. The hand to end it all I had Ace King and Brandon went all in with sixes. I had to call with the Ace King 3 handed. Luke had $300 in chips left so it was all in also for him. Brandon's 6s hold up and I come in second as he had me out chipped by $100. If I did not call the All in we would of agreed to a chop because once Luke goes out it would be heads up with pretty much equal stacks. The Lotto Bounty cards luckily I bought 10 of them as there were 10 horses in the game tonight.

This “Luke” guy sounds like an imbecilic dunce. What a treat it must have been to sit to his left.

Would it make you feel better to know this was me in the subsequent cash game?

Could be worse @Flopalopagus you could spike two pair on the flop with J 8 suited late in the tourney and then go all in against an A 7 of spades only to be busted on the river to a flush. Then you go to cash game to be lose all you buy-ins to a Big Ugly Chick named Veronica.

But in all reality I was even happy at that point I had enough chips to almost match Matt when we went all in. I was on life support like 2 rounds before where I was pretty much dead in a few blinds.
