EDITED:
Rather than clutter the space with multiple small giveaways, I am going to consolidate as one giveaway with multiple lots. I hope it is not too confusing. Remember, winner pays cost of shipping!

I have some items not worth selling and not worth shipping to the U.S. or Canada. So, I'm giving them away within the EU and nearby regions only. All you pay is shipping.

How to Enter:
  • You must have a valid EU shipping address. (Please don’t post it publicly—just don’t enter if you don’t have one.)
  • To get your name in the hat once, post a recommendation of a lesser-known EU city worth visiting—I'm always on the lookout for hidden gems!
  • Specify which lot(s) you're interested in. If you don’t, I’ll assume you’re interested in all.
  • For a bonus: If you host your own giveaway and share a link to it, I’ll add your name two more times (for a total of three entries).
How Winners Will Be Chosen:
  • On August 10 or 11, I’ll put all names into a hat (if you hosted a giveaway, your name goes in three times)
  • For Lot 1, I’ll draw a name. If that person expressed interest in Lot 1, they win it and their name is removed. If not, I’ll put the name back and draw again.
  • I’ll repeat this process for Lot 2, Lot 3, and so on.
  • If someone has multiple entries (because they hosted a giveaway), they can win more than one lot.

Lot 1
Complete "Suits and Royals" dealer button set

Lot 2
Assortment of mixed dealer buttons

1754222191441.webp

Lot 3
1000 chip Versa brand birdcage. Used, but good condition. Fits 10 racks of all types, including Justin racks. Comes with key but I can't get it to work (could be user error).

Lot 4
600 chip Versa brand birdcage. Used, but good condition. Fits 6 racks of all types, including Justin racks. Comes with key - and it works.
1754222495598.webp

Lot 5
750 case (chips not included!). It is 65cm wide and 31cm deep. Pretty robust - better quality than you usually find with these type of briefcase style cases. Top is scratched because I placed other cases on top of it. Shipping on this one could get pricey given dimensions.

Lot 6
Roulette mold chips. 19 of the mustard colored ones with the purple inlay. These are sharp. Worn assortment of others. I had the vague idea of creating seating chips with these. But I don't need that now. Maybe someone else finds these useful.
1754222867653.webp

Lot 7
21 ceramic chips for flattening clay chips. They are 43mm, so 39mm chips fit between them without overhang. These were BRPro rejects with printing on the edge, but the faces are blank so there is no risk of color transfer. I successfully flattened a rack of chips with these, but don't expect to do more any time soon.

Lot 8
Two used card setups. The KEMs are bridge jumbo index - well used and a little bowed. But still have life in them. Copags are poker size and jumbo index. I have had these for years but only used for a few hands.

I'll give this a shot :) I'm interested in Lot 4.

A (maybe) lesser-known city I'd recommend visiting is definitely Rijeka in Croatia. A port city which used to be one of the biggest in Europe.
Interestingly, the first actual Torpedo was engineered there.

Looks lovely! First time I am hearing of Rijeka. Seems to be a lively place to spend Carnivale. Cool piece of history on the invention of the torpedo. Also reading now about its bizarre occupation by a band of Italian poets and revolutionaries right after WWI.

Yeah. My origin is more in the south of Croatia, but that's a bit more known because of tourism :D

Great giveaway !!! Thanks a million.

A nice Swiss city is Crans-Montana. Gets almost everything and remains small enough.

Example view from inside the restaurant at Relais de Colombire in Crans.

An other one is Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic. Fantastic architecture (and food) and there is Casino Pupp where James Bond Casino Royale was shot

I would be interested in any lots with storage for chips! The biggest surprise for me was the French cities of Dijon and Gordes, in Provence. We stopped in the first one on the way, for a jar of the famous mustard, and I was unexpectedly amazed by the beauty of this city.

And the second one is on a cliff. It is very difficult to get to, a dangerous road, but it is worth it!

Wow. But let's be honest...what part of Switzerland is not beautiful. I have visited the country four times to four different places and each was stunning. I will keep Crans-Montana in mind the next time we head there. Looks like you could do a day trip to the Matterhorn, possibly?

I have you down for lots 4, 5, and 6. I just created a tracking table in the original post.

Both cities look beautiful. First time hearing of Gordes. We visited Lyon not too long ago and fell in love with the city and surrounding region. The locals were some of the friendliest and most generous we have met anywhere. We want to go back to Southern France on a road trip...so Dijon and Gordes are now on the potential itinerary. Thank you!

Sharing a photo of my own hidden gem: the Grande Chartreuse monastery in the Carthusian mountains near Voiron, France, where the monks make Chartreuse liqueur. (Feel like I have to tag @Neilimixam now). There is a visitor center in Voiron - I recommend you stop for cheap Chartreuse at the gift shop but skip the tour. Spend your time driving up to and the hiking around the Monastery instead - it was idyllic. They don't let you into the Monastery, but there is a museum on site (we did not have time for the museum, unfortunately).

For tips about what you can do around, I recommand getting directly in touch with my daughter Amber who is running this « Relais de Colombire ».
They know much more than me about advices for getting around here.
Just let her know that we got in touch thru poker forum. She will know 😇😁

Thanks for doing this!

Have to rep Belgium, so I would say Mechelen (close to where I live). Worth a visit.

Sign me up for lots 2,3,4,5 or 6.

Big thanks!

Two Belgium suggestions! I have somehow never been to Belgium. I need to go. Glad to know of a couple places other than Brussels or Bruges.

That black case looks like it might hold 43mm chips. Do you happen to know the brand name?

They have it in various sizes.

Good eye! I had never thought to put 43mm in there - I only have a few. They fit perfectly, better than 39mm in fact. If I recall, the 39mm fit snugly when I first purchased this but within a short while the got looser. So, you might need to break it in a bit before filling it with 43mm.

Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany obv. I‘d add Colmar, France if you are in the region.
Put me down for lot 3&4 please. Thanks for running this!!
Both look beautiful - and right across the border from each other. Are they kind of like sister cities? I made a road trip in that area recently. We considered Freidburg but chose Strasbourg instead (don't hate me). Next time it will be Freidburg/Colmar!

I added another lot with 2 used card setups. I went ahead and marked everyone down for that lot. Let me know if you do NOT want it and I will remove your bid on it.

Nice man!

Visit Aarhus in Denmark and after that go to the southern parts of Djursland not far from Aarhus. There you have amazing hikes in "Mols Bjerge" and you can also visit a small town called Ebeltoft. If you like craft beer you are in for a treat!

I am interested in Lot 2, 3, 4 and 5.
