As a fan of authentic mexican restaurants, I've only seen a few of these in the Wild in the NJ/PA/NY area. We mostly only get the option of Pineapple or Mandarin (Both are solid)

I've had mango and fruit punch as well, but the rest I haven't seen.

Here in Tucson and in the 24/7 'burrito-barns' where one might expect all "31 flavors" of Jarritos, I've only seen a couple of the flavors that are in that photo! It would take a deeper dive into the Mexican groceries... maybe down in South Tucson (a real place BTW) if I wanted to find any of the other flavors.


I actually might have to do a search. Tamarind Jarritos?!? Yes please!





(As an aside, when I was much, much younger, my grandfather owned and operated a custom art and picture framing shop in El Paso. I recall quite strongly that he had an old Coca-Cola vending refrigerator in the front of his shop. It was honor system payment as the door was always unlocked, but he would drive across the border to Juarez maybe very other week and buy flats of "Mexican Soda" to restock that fridge, and to being back the old, used bottles. I might have used up his current stock of Sprite that was in the fridge whenever we were there and visiting.)

The semi ran out of room. So we’re forced to dump a bunch of stuff yesterday, even yes including poker table.

Okay, not horrid, most the stuff made it on at least. We’ve had worse moves.

We’re 2-3 hours behind today, but dump runs and painters and ish are doing well. We’re packed up and ready to leave. Kids, pigs, dog, plants all in the car, check check check check.

Where’s the cat. Where’s the f*cking cat.

Cue changing the driving and hotel plans to give this f*cker a couple hours to come home…

So family is 2 hours away still with the dog, I have the guinea pigs and the cat in the car, there’s no way I’m doing anything with this car or even staying in/next to it, there’s almost no shoulder and it can’t even turn anymore - just sliding on the wheel/rim so I can’t get it over further.

Emergency road side is minimum 30 minutes away.

And the car was just at the dealership for shaking and issues with that tire last week.

At least it’s never boring.

The tropics aint always paradise, I live in Orlando and work in the suburb of Kissimmee. Extreme Heat Warning today, high could hit 100, heat index pushing 113.

I still have people in Academy Gardens and my uncle who just passed lived at Welsh/Woodward and the Boulevard a couple blocks from the north end of the park. We lived in the shadow of Allied Chemical next to 95 and the Rohm & Haas plant (I think it's a Dow facility now)

Honestly no real complaints from me. It’s been one of our easiest moves. I think after just under 14,000 miles of moving in 6 years, it’s all the same.

There will always be something - for example, right now I’m sitting at the vet with an emergency visit for Toast getting blood work done.
