Counter argument. Instead of auctioning your T25 to this guy for lots of money consider donating it to the Zmasterben Early Memorial Museum of WSOP History and Cheapness.

Here at the ZEMMWHC we are dedicated to preserving as many WSOP chips as possible but also trying to be mostly but not completely poor.

Our mission statement is to respect and showcase the history of chips used at the World Series Of Poker while also continuing to be able to afford Taco Bell occasionally.

Donate your T25s today. (Sarah McLachlan song starts playing).
Why are the good ones on the bottom?

Thanks, but I will probably hold out for the 25 Forrest green non-rfid ones. I am sure it will take awhile and cost a pretty penny, but I am here for it.

I have a large playable set (2,000 chips) of replica Wsop chips which I will use and keep until I can get a playable set of the real deal.
Those are all replica chips??

lots of millionaires in this thread if thats the case. I feel broke
To be fair, the initial purchases from the eBay seller back in February ran between $12-25/chip for the 39mm chips, depending on quantities and denominations. The 43, 48 and 50mm for significantly more.

But yeah, putting a set together today would be an difficult and expensive endeavor

Based on the few collectors who landed them, I think a set would sell for north of $40/39mm chip.

Now, if more are ever available that could go down significantly.

I was told that for sets, they sold for about $18 per chip. I have no first-hand knowledge of this, so make your own judgements.

I kinda want to text the guy, ask him how his life changed (or didn’t) due to this score. I don’t know how much he made but wouldn’t be surprised at 100k+ in a couple months time.

I know that personally I shipped them $2k over many purchases just for the samples I got.
