So, funny story. My back neighbors were having some type of outdoor thing and we’re BLASTING Christian rock on repeat…for hours. I was trying to chill by the pool (it’s TX, everyone has a pool - lol) and was about to rip my own head off.

We also have outdoor speakers that can be heard by the neighbors.

Seemed the only appropriate choice:

Absolute and undeniable legend. One of the most recognizable and iconic voices of rock. Tbh, shocked he lived this long. Grew up listening to his music and never stopped. Even watched that silly show, lol. Knew it was coming, but still sad.

On July 5th, 1989 at the Allentown Fairgrounds, I was baptized with a bucket of water thrown on me in the front row by Ozzy during his No Rest For The Wicked tour. Geezer Butler was there playing bass for Ozzy as he joined the band in 1988. The Fairground show was open seating so it wasn't hard to get up front.

The encore (not listed) was Paranoid. Anyone who saw Ozzy knows the insane stamina he has on stage. He must have thrown 100 buckets of water onto the crowd mixed in with his jumping or rather bouncing in place and running from one side of the stage to the other. I went with my friend Tim who unfortunately past away from cancer way too young 10 years ago. It's great to remember that concert and my pal Tim. I wish it were under better circumstances.

I only saw Ozzy once, in 1986 with Metallica (with Cliff Burton) opening. It was definitely a Metallica crowd, even in those early days…many in the crowd did not stay for Ozzy’s performance.
I think Ozzy really re-invented his image through the 90s starting with this e Ozzfest tours.
