Also, this pr0n thread needs more pr0n…

These things were pretty dirty upon arrival:

Nothing a bit of Simple Green and a few minutes in the Ultrasonic couldn’t remedy:

Anyone coming to degen in Dallas that has a playable tourney set? I’d like to run a single table tourney with a set of these if possible!!!!

There should be some rfid t25ks out there…
Thanks, but I will probably hold out for the 25 Forrest green non-rfid ones. I am sure it will take awhile and cost a pretty penny, but I am here for it.

I have a large playable set (2,000 chips) of replica Wsop chips which I will use and keep until I can get a playable set of the real deal.

@photojake pretty much half way to a T100 set. Might have to get crafty with T5k’s but Onya mate! Get after it! Probably the only casino set I’d like to own.

5000 from the current WSOP?!
Toward the end of day 3 of the Main, there are still almost a couple thousand people alive and a 5k chip is the big blind ante. So I imagine it would be easy to make one of those disappear, if you’re lucky enough to have a stack at that point.

I love the irony that the most commonly available WSOP chip was always the T25 and you could get one on eBay for fifteen or twenty bucks. But since none of them were included in this RIO stash/heist, it went from becoming the cheapest WSOP chip available to one of the most expensive.

Ah, I misunderstood the headline. I initially read it as someone having 5000 chips, not a single 5k.

If we’re talking random singles, that’s nothing new.

Some of my friends thought the main event chips were used other events.
Maybe this means new chips will be made if the current set is considered compromised?
Always thought GG would want their branding on it and from my understanding next year is when we will see all things GG.

Still waiting to see what a T25 auction will bring!
