600 pc set for T5 & T25 tournaments. This is a catch and release. Got these on a good deal along with cash chips that I plan to keep. All chips are in near mint condition, and I’m pretty confident they haven’t been felted by me or the previous owner.

These chips are comparable to “China Clays” available on ApachePoker. Although they have a slightly smaller inlay, more THC/SVC than RHC. I’ve included Pharaoh's chips simply for comparison, these are not for sale.

These are super interesting. So the chips mold is the same as the phoenix logo on the inlay?

I have a huge china clay collection of every mold I've been able to get my hands on. If you happen to have any extras (full sample set, or something less) I'd be very interested.

I'd also love to see some more detailed pics, including the cash chips. Have you posted them in a showcase thread anywhere else on here?

Yes, the mold looks very similar to the Phoenix logo on the inlay.

I’ll send you a PM for what I can send from the cash set.

Haven’t posted the cash set anywhere as I’m looking to get a 5¢ label to use for the $5K chips. Although I have this “family” photo taken yesterday.

Cool set! If u dont mind sharing where are you getting the artwork for the 0.05c? I would be interested in making the blue chip a 25,000 denomination.

I’ve contacted both Gear and Spinettis for this project. Both haven’t worked on this type of chip before so to continue I would have to send a sample chip to get the sizing and artwork done if I go with Gear.

I would save some time and money going through Spinettis due to the art fee and not having to send a sample chip. Also the mockup was already done and looks great.

On the other hand that artwork would be available to anyone afterward. I figured if this set sold then it would show some interest in these chip and I’d go the Gear route. However, I might cut some of my losses and go through Spinettis.

I don’t have these Phoenix chips on hand, but was actually adding them to the big public molds index this morning

Widely sold across the less premium retailers. Don’t know much about them except that they’re china clays. Things like when they were first available, if they’ve changed over the years, if they have a reputation for being long lived or if they dry out and get crumbly, etc…

Things I’d like to know but haven’t dived into yet :)

High level, I think China Clay molds are easy and cheap to produce compared to compression clay / traditional clay chips. Same for injection molded plastic, pretty standard stuff whereas the CPC Molds are sort of exotic and mysterious and there hasn’t been a new one made in 20+ years

Here's a link to ChipCave product page, one of many sellers of the Phoenix chips.

Adding 50x $5,000 chips for a total of 650 chips for $200 shipped.

Or I can swap 50x of the $5s for $5,000s at the original posted price.

Friday bump and price drop:

$180 shipped for 650 chips which includes 50x additional $5K chips.

Or you can buy the original set for $160 shipped.

Cant go any lower than that. If these last through the weekend I will be reposting these along with the cash set I was hoping to keep.

Thanks,
Caballo
